Harmony EP is a story about my inside feelings, emotion and try to find calm in this world. Also it's a story about my love to nature. I had two inspirations to do ep. First inspiration was to Indian music and culture. Second inspiration was a fall and many things connected with forest, nature and music, specifically psy-trance genre. It can be seen on second track: Mushrooms in forest. I tried to keep soul of psy-trance in downtempo formule. The whole is complemented by remix created by LVND.

This is a collaboration that has been coming for a long time, and finally it is here.

It is about a tribe of people forgotten by time, who dwell in an uncharted forest on the side of a remote mountain. They are discovered by a young couple on a hiking trip. The couple are enchanted and in awe of the simplicity and beauty of these tribal folk. The couple decide to leave, as much as they want to stay, but, later one day, are drawn back by the powerful force of life in the people of the forest, on the mountain they call Zelidan. They convince their family to go with them, as the world has grown poisoned by hate and division and war and lies. They know that ultimately, their is no perfect place on Earth, but they also know that there is a better way. So the story begins...

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

Cassiopeia, was the queen of Aethiopia. She was the wife of King Cepheus of Aethiopia and mother of Princess Andromeda. Cepheus and Cassiopeia were placed next to each other among the stars, along with Andromeda. She was placed in the sky as a punishment after enraging Poseidon with the boast that her daughter Andromeda was more beautiful than the Nereids or, alternatively, that she herself was more beautiful than the sea nymphs. She was forced to wheel around the north celestial pole on her throne, spending half of her time clinging to it so she does not fall off, and Poseidon decreed that Andromeda should be bound to a rock as prey for the monster Cetus. Andromeda was then rescued by the hero Perseus, whom she later married. Cassiopeia has been variously portrayed throughout her history as a constellation. In Persia, she was drawn by al-Sufi as a queen holding a staff with a crescent moon in her right hand, wearing a crown, as well as a two-humped camel. Dafunx takes you on a journey to Cassiopeia Voodoo land, where animals can speak and trees are made of poetry. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks are precious and elegant like the silver stars in the dark night!

Based in Haarlem, the Netherlands, Thomas Gaarthuis, better known by his artist name Thommie G, releases his debut EP on Tropical Twista Records. 

Inspired by his travels to the South American continent, the EP, titled ‘Athinouk’, delivers 3 tracks, touching sounds and elements from the Andes to the Amazon rainforest. 

Thomas was caught by the enchantment of music since the very beginning. Working as a graphic designer for 16 years, it felt natural to step into the world of sound design. Having a big affinity with tribal music since the nineties, he combines organic sounds and rhythms to his productions, carrying the listener to places beyond their audio system. Although not married to a specific genre, his style touches elements of deep, melodic and tribal. 

He produces different sounds for different occasions, mostly by himself, sometimes joining forces with other musicians.His music is played by a number of DJ's, such as Oceanvs Orientalis, Pigmaliâo (Voodoohop), Luis Rosenberg, Urban Cosmonaut Radio collective and more. 

Besides that, 2015 saw the birth of Dancing under the stars (Dansen onder de Sterren), Thomas' own club night in his hometown of Haarlem.
