Summertime Sadness (Asadinho Dub)

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Shannon Young grew up surrounded by a wide variety of culture, and an even wider variety of music. From an early age, it became obvious that Shannon would forge a part of her life in arts. While in Toronto she performed in the professional production of the hit musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. From there, she continued working and training with the Dunrankin Choral and Dance Group until her modeling career took off and, before she knew it, Shannon was traveling around the world to international fashion shows and competitions. However, throughout the modeling years, she kept a close leash on her passion for music and found herself chronically cutting mixed CD’s for close friends and family.  These years produced volumes and volumes of compilations that were always met with requests for more. Shannon turned pro and, in a short period of time, has spun at some of the biggest nightclubs in Toronto and internationally. When not holding a packed house in the palm of her hand, Shannon is busy taking production software courses in order to compose and record her own material. She is currently the owner of To Bloom Yoga where she teaches children Yoga. Fueled by the goal of connecting with the crowd on a spiritual level, and driven to deliver an experience they won’t soon forget, Shannon Young can be found spinning at some of the biggest clubs and event spaces this spinning globe has to offer.
