Bonjour! Yes, hello and welcome back to the infamous Il Modo Podcast... our weekly trip around the world of electronica, searching for those exclusive DJ mixes you never knew you needed. Sit back and lets see where we have landed today.. 

We are back behind the decks with a DJ returning for a second spell here. She can stand alongside any of her male peers, with her unique skills, track selection and ability to build a mix. She is no ordinary DJane, this is Julie Petrecca!

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie is introduced to music as she grows up practically in the recording studio own by her father. He quickly transmits his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter.

In her late teens, she discovered Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well-kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds!

Since February 2015, Julie hosts her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’ E N J O Y !

The Dj Stergios T. (aka Dj Sigma Pr) born in the town of Serres. His life is divided between two loves: music and computer's (not necessarily in that order). The truth is that music is the love that never betrayed him.Active as a Dj since 1993 with several important collaborations with big names in Dance scene (Djs and musicians). Now live in the city of Thessaloniki in recent years engaged in music production, mixing and radio production. He is the producer of radio broadcasts "Heartbeat Sessions" and "Subsequence Sessions" which are broadcast by "Radio 1", "Radio Must Athens" and many other radio stations in Greece.At the same time he write music for theatrical performances of "National Theatre of Northern Greece", "Experimental Scene Of Art", "Theatre -T " and many other independent theater groups. Hot New Unreleased and Best Summer Progressive Mix - Ultiset EP 84

It's time for a new UltiSet and this week feels extra special.  This mix is filled with pre-released promos, bootlegs, and some unsigned gems that a couple of music friends sent my way to test out.  I also put five songs in this set that I am working on to see how they flow and what other work needs to be done.  I am truly honored that I get such amazing music sent my way to listen to by artists that are truly cutting edge. Shell Robinson stands at the intersection of classical training and electronic music innovation. A classically trained pianist turned house music artist, she brings a unique musicality to her productions and DJ sets that seamlessly blends technical precision with raw emotional depth.
Her journey in electronic music began in 2000 at Cleveland's "That Groovy Little Nightclub." Following a personal tragedy, house music became a powerful outlet for healing and connection. Influenced by industry pioneers like Deep Dish, Digweed, Sasha, and Hernan Cattaneo, Shell developed her signature style through dedicated craftsmanship, starting with two Technics turntables and pure determination.
The early 2000s saw Shell establish herself as a resident DJ at Moda Cleveland and Amnesia Columbus, while touring nationally alongside D:FUSE, including notable performances at San Francisco's iconic 1015 Folsom and Austin's vibrant 6th Street district. Her sets are carefully curated journeys through house music's emotional landscape, known for their progressive buildups and engaging energy that resonates with audiences.
After taking time to raise her daughter while maintaining an executive career in PropTech, Shell has returned to the decks with renewed passion and fresh perspective. Her recent releases on inU and UV Noir showcase her evolution as an artist, combining her classical foundation with contemporary electronic production techniques.
Shell's sets blend technical skill with musical intuition, creating memorable experiences on the dancefloor. Her unique background as a vocalist and pianist adds layers of musicality to her productions, setting her apart in today's electronic music landscape.
