Here's the live recording of my DJ set that I performed at the yearly Psytribe Spring Frequency event in April 2021. It was a transitional set, from 11pm-1am on Saturday night, after an amazing techno set by Dela Moon. Starting at 130bpm, I gradually built it the energy up to 144bpm over the course of a fantastic 2 hour journey that felt amazing. Especially because it was the first, proper party I had participated in since the pandemic and my country began taking a positive path again. Much love and thanks to everyone who was a part of that moment, and to you for listening and sharing in it with me. I'll try to post a tracklisting in a few months, once I've given the unreleased tracks I played some time to get released!

This week on Psylicious Radio we welcome Ovnimoon Records and the combined forces of Ovnimoon and Barby.

Ovnimoon and Barby are the very foundations of the Chilean trance scene, pioneers in their own right, each with their own distinctive sound and crowd-pleasing injection of psychedelic sound-scapes that echo across the World and onto the trance-floors.
With the release of Barby's long-awaited second album "Spectre” out soon we join together as Ovnimoon delivers one of his infamous DJ sets and Barby provides the musical twists, turns and psychedelic nourishment of his new album, “Spectre”. Enjoy!

OVNIMOON [Ovnimoon Recs] CL
Ovnimoon is the main project of Héctor Stuardo (Santiago de Chile, 1979) and it was born in mid-1999 at the “EarthDance Chile” festival. He is currently considered an ambassador of Psytrance music from Latin America and Chile to the world with a career of 18 years playing as a DJ and as a live artist on various stages in Chile.
He has released 9 albums in Europe, 5 albums of remixes (of great names in Psy World music), several compilations, EPs and with the creation of his own label called "Ovnimoon Records", his name is one of the most recognized in the world. elite of this genre.

BARBY [Ovnimoon Recs] CL
Barby is the psytrance & chillout project sculptured and launched in 1999 by one of the first Chilean trance musicians, Ignacio Barbagelata.
Barby soon began performing and building a reputation as a trance artist, performing at local clubs, outdoor parties, festivals, and then joining collaborative forces with Chilean producer Ovnimoon in a collective called Psychedelic Shiva.

Barby's honed and distinctive style combines an infusion of dark and industrial elements into trance while staying true to the roots of Goa and its ancient transcendental essence.

Shiv Gupta aka Shiva Moon from Chennai has been an integral part of the electronic music industry since the late 90’s. Known for his intelligent and carefully crafted sets, his music has enthralled audiences at some of the biggest festivals as well as hip bars and clubs across the world for the last two decades.Taking influences from a wide variety of electronic music genres, Shiv is known to create a dance floor  experience that is second to none. Mainly focusing on Psy Trance and Techno currently, his sets are always known for the energetic and powerful vibe they create on the dance floor, leaving the floor in a state of active meditation and wanting more. 
 
He is also the founder and festival director of The GO:MADras festival, which has been a landmark event in India's festival calendar for the last 10 years and is one of India's oldest running electronic music festivals. It is also considered one of its finest by musicians and festival goers across India, drawing huge crowds every year to the coastal city of Chennai known for its pristine beaches every September.
