Neil Willis was on hosting duties this week, and opened his set with his magnificent new track, MOVE IT, which will be out on Boogie Brunch Records soon. The rest of his set was equally upbeat and groovy, with proper disco energy. Neil broadcasts his own radio show, Different Strokes, every Monday on NDC Radio, as well as being part of the DJ collection Live Life who have their own weekly show. 

HIs guest this week was the legendary DJ and producer Birdee. Originally from Italy but now based in Los Angeles, he is known for his funky, disco-infused house music. He has built a strong reputation in the nu-disco and house music scenes, releasing music on labels like Glitterbox, Big Love, and Nervous Records. His tracks often feature groovy basslines, uplifting melodies, and a retro yet fresh feel, drawing influence from classic disco and funk. 

Birdee has gained support from industry heavyweights like Purple Disco Machine, Dimitri From Paris, and The Shapeshifters, with his music frequently played in clubs and festivals worldwide. His productions have also been featured on BBC Radio 1 and Defected Radio. His set for the second hour is an absolute blinder

Keeping the tradition of doing every 10th session in my mix series myself, here I am with a fresh mix for your ears. This time I’m going big on the funky basslines - a mixture of genres but unified by the large bottom end in each of the 29 tunes crammed into this hour and a bit.
