A track that was heard everywhere from the big gun sets at festivals to the dingy backrooms of clublands underworld-months before it officially came out-Shame Cube caught the ear of the more intelligent modern clubber with its unmistakably Sian style vocal creeping into a densely textured mash of beats and bass wobble.It marked a segway further into our dark and edgy strobe lit world inhabited solely by Octopus and its henchmen.Having already wrestled into the number 2 spot on Beatport Techno Top 100,we felt it a likely contender for a fan remix contest,and we assigned Marc Houle and Oliver Huntemann the tasks of leading the way with their insanely creative interpretations,plus we opened the doors to hordes of fans to appear on this ep alongside the talented trio of producers,and selected a winner named Philip Lowenbek,who´s truly left field mix won us over with a straight-up adventurous attempt.Outstanding reimaginings of a new school cult classic tune,the mixes harness the vibe and stay true to that disturbingly catchy call to arms vocal ¨when will you look at yourself?¨.
