Despite the fact I've done many internationally within that time, we decided to finally bring it back home for our "Road to 8 Years" event as part of the You Plus One 8 Year Anniversary celebration. The goal was to play 8 hours... but the mad energy coming from the hundreds who showed up to pack the Haus that night kept me going for... 11 STRAIGHT HOURS!!! 😮 

As a thank you we will be releasing this unforgettable musical journey in sections every Friday for the next 6 straight Fridays.

It has been nearly 2 years since I released a HAUSPARTY recording. The world has seen a lot in these 20 months. I have personally been offline for the past 10 weeks. I have navigated through alot of hardships in my life but nothing has tested me like the pandemic. Even still, through the darkness there always comes light. Something happened last week that brought back my drive and inspiration. Today; I am happy again, I feel a strength radiating through my body, I am ready to continue to spread hope around the world, and I am truly honored to dedicate the first HAUPARTY mix in 2 spins around the sun to my beautiful loving hermano Memo Banuelos.

Through the darkness always comes light. Been patiently building my ammunition behind the scenes while the world stood still. Now we have our wings back and can all fly. In the past 2 years I have been able to get back to the basics and focus my energy on my craft. You Plus One turned 10 years old and our beloved YPO record label has become one of the top dance labels in Canada with consistent chart topping releases including multiple tracks landing #1 on the top 100. I dedicated infinite hours in the studio and am happy to announce that I have more tracks ready to be released and shared with the world this year. I have now confirmed festival and club shows around the globe. We finally were able to invite guests back to our legendary HAUSPARTY just in time to celebrate it’s 5 year anniversary with our loyal family. And what a night it was, the stuff of dreams, my set was recorded and I couldn't think of a better performance of mine to share as the official 10th HAUSPARTY live set. Thank you all for proving to me once again that if you believe and never ever give up absolutely anything is possible.

From the 1st day I started my electronic music career I had a phobia. I NEVER wanted to be labeled and imprisoned to a single genre of electronic music. I wanted my sound to be beyond eclectic - no borders, no boundaries, no limitations. Free to explore the depths of ALL things electronic, whether its 98 bpm soothing downtempo or 132 bpm Detroit techno, whether it be housey or trancey. Throughout the past quarter century I have been meticulously crafting my sound so I can tell this electronic story. Anyone can play a range of genres within one performance, but there are very few out there that can seamlessly thread it together for hours on end while keeping an elegant identifiable sound. Fear no more.

Birthing the YPO concept nearly a dozen years ago, helping multiple dozens of local artist raise from bedroom to stage, + sharing my musical wizardry w the globe for over 2 dozen years. After all these dozens of dozens, I couldn't be more proud to announce my recent signing to 1 of dance music's all time great labels, none other than Berlin's iconic Get Physical 🤩 I expect you to sense and feel the excitement in the air of this DOZENTH episode of the HAUPARTY recording. I went in 3 straight hours of pure Siavash. Replacing my more recent harder hitting mega sets at the big venues to going back to the sound that you all know and love of me. I couldn't be more proud to announce my label signing + also couldn't be happier with my performance, and I hope it bring you joy and happiness as we start the enter the cold season. 🧙🏼‍♂️♥️

2022 was the year of release; the year where we all got to officially gather together again,  where music could be openly celebrated, where travel came back, where I refound my soul, and the year where our beloved HAUSPARTY returned. Now add a couple major record label signings to my career and sprinkle a massive upcoming project in LA. So much growing frustration that FINALLY got released in 2022. THIS is exactly why when we had our sold out NYE at the You Plus One headquarters this year I was on some next level energy. From behind what I consider 1 of the greatest stages in Canada, I felt the room filled with the pent up energy from those years lost. I hope you can hear and feel all the passion booming through the speakers on this 13th edition of the infamous HAUSPARTY 🧙🏼‍♂️♥️

None of us can believe that this little secret + private gathering has spun so wildly out of control + somehow has lasted 6 YEARS!!! One of Canada's most precious + unique electronic music establishments, the HAUS is now world famous with it's international artist guests leaving with the same sentiments: That the HAUSPARTY is one of the greatest underground events on the planet. 

I have been playing a lot harder lately as I've been finding myself performing bigger celebratory events. For this special 3 hour set I dove deep and went back to the classic "Siavash" sound that you all know and love. There's nothing I love more than telling a story that spans genres and generations. From unreleased future works to golden classics. DJs forgive me for this 98% Shazam proof set ;) as most these songs will not be released for some time, some perhaps never.

Things just keep looking up! I released 2 records on 2 of my all time fav labels in the first 2 months of 2023 and they both became top 5 on the Beatport top 100 charts!!! The latest one climbed to #1 !!! I'm my own worst critic of my music, and It's wonderful to see the world loving my hard work. I have so much more music ahead and I've included a few sneak peeks inside this 3 hour recording of a super jammed sold out HAUSPARTY!  Living my best life and 2023 is looking like my biggest year to date.

Little did I know, that night would surpass all expectations, marking one of my favorite performances of my 30-year career. 🔥 Perhaps it's the recent creative flow in the studio with Tiago de Renor and Pig&Dan, or the confidence boost from recent dream label signings. Tired of returning home from my tours only to feel a deep sense of disappointment with Vancouver’s electronic music spaces, I set out eight years ago to change that. I wanted a place where people could celebrate our culture freely, be themselves, and experience the world’s best international artists on a weekly basis. I just wanted to build a place that made me excited to be back home after my travels.  Somewhere that didn't feel like a drastic downgrade form all the unreal venues and unforgettable spaces I play abroad. I am extremely proud to say that never in my years of touring the world have I experienced a place quite like our beloved Haus. We have FINALLY built a magical home that will forever be in the nocturnal history books.
