Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the British dj & producer Martyn Hare (Emetic Records).

Martyn Hare is a producer and DJ whose career spans a dark but important time for UK techno, the early 2000s, when the initial wave of innovation had begun to taper off and focus had shifted elsewhere.
Even at its height in the late ‘90s, techno had always been something found around the edges of the more popular mutations of hardcore that took centre stage in UK, but this didn't stop Hare forging his own path. 
Originally releasing on labels like Tronic, Recycled Loops and Potential, Hare forged quick success and just as quickly moved on to found Emetic and Tremors, where his sound truly found its voice. 
After continues success working with the best  techno labels in the business, such as Perc Trax, Earwiggle and Power Vacuum, and with the widespread re-evaluation of UK techno happening for the last few years, Martyn Hare released his fifth studio album, 'Some people never learn' after more than 60 singles on vinyl through his career.
After years operating without hype and without compromise, Martyn Hare continues to be in distinguished company, a seasoned figure amidst a raft of newer names whose experience and dedication to the cause speaks for itself.
Our new podcast session is signed by his signature, dark, crushing sound.

Lukr Range is a Berlin based DJ and producer. She grew up in the Berlin nightlife scene soaking up the diverse and wild performances which took place every week in the German capital. In Berlin she performed as a Dj in clubs such as Griessmuhele, About Blank, Arena, Suicide Circus and Anomalie, dominating the floors with raw and aggressive beats. Three year ago she had the opportunity to play outside the borders of Berlin, in clubs like CELL200 in London ,IFZ in Leipzig, Nowhere Festival in Barcelona, Detect Festival and Dom Technika in Poland. The past year she performed in Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Portugal and Sweden. In January 2020 Lukr Range, with the help of other cofounders, launched her first event “SØNDER"  at Griessmuehle. The project includes both musical and visual experimentation and aims to support minorities, promoting electronic music culture in all its form and create connections. Being an artist for Lukr Range means being in a constant state of mutation and exploration because, to her, approaching new musical genres and experiences is the most significant way to find inspiration and to bring the new-found creativity into her own music process.

Lost In Ether | P R E M I E R E | Sejon - Fragmented Dreams [MÉTIER]

Recording of my opening set 22:00-23:30 for Control Theory 3.0 at Dove Club, Melbourne CBD. A mergence of 2 Melbourne based techno brands OCTANE & DAZED HDT. I decided to walk the line between funky & hypnotic grooves in this opening set to give people a taste of the harder techno the artists after me were playing, aswell as keeping it funky to get people moving as the dance floor was filling up. Hope you enjoy the recording :) 

ps. the set is played with 2 Native Instruments X1 controllers controlling Traktor Pro, ran through an Allen & Heath PX5, I also had a Soma Synths Lyra 8 in the booth but didnt touch it much as i realised it needed to be flooded with reverb which i didnt have & didnt want to give up my delay send on the PX5 to do so :P

The album concept orbits around summits and their insidious paths. As the name suggests, "Peaks" is dedicated to and inspired by mountains.

NƵM 99

Issu de la scène rave, NƵM 99 est porté par une techno sombre et acide aux basses lourdes et
puissantes, il aime épater les foules du bout des doigts. Producteur hyperactif, il a créé son propre label
Tjalk records en hommage à son bateau sur lequel il vit.

Dès son adolescence, il puise ses influences dans le mouvement rave party ainsi que dans les morceaux
d'Arnaud Rebotini, The Hacker, Terence Fixmer et David Carretta.
A 19 ans, il achète ses premières machines analogiques et ne cesse d'enrichir son set dès que l'occasion
se présente.
Fasciné par le grain chaud des vieux synthétiseurs, il cultive une techno aux sonorités EBM qui envoûte
les dancefloors.

@vltradeltadrive is a duo between Franco & Gaël from Bogota, Colombia. They are the founders of “Antimateria” and Gaël is co-founder of the label “Píldoras Tapes”.

Their sound emerge from electronic backgrounds of dance culture between the past and the future, their sessions are constantly evolving, blending a different kind of styles.

Their debut on vinyl was released last year on a various artists release called “Human Abstracts Vol. 1” under 2 European labels: brokntoys from London and Endless Illusion from Prague. They have released music on labels such as Meta Moto, Soil Records, Forkha and Pildoras Tapes.
