I put together this remix of Bobby Caldwell's - Down for the third time after finding it on the B-side of What you won't do for love. It's a dope joint by itself but I wanted something I could play when I DJ so I picked up the tempo and turned it into a nice party track with an intro and outro!

We all go through tough times, some harder than others. This is a great song by Allen Stone and really tells a story I can relate to. The "bed I made" is a great analogy for the life we live and weather or not we are happy with our current situation. Our life is an accumulation of our choices which ends up being the bed we made. If you're not happy with the bed you're in, you have the power to change the sheets or even the whole bed. It's not likely that you dwell on the past mattresses you've slept on so why dwell on past regrets. It doesn't serve us today and won't change anything about our future. Start with forgiveness and move forward with love in your heart. Things will get better!

A funky rendition of the new Calvin Harris song Feel So Close.  Personally I like dance music and I enjoy some of the music that is out these days.  There are even some great dance/house/electronic remixes of songs but I feel as though funk is lacking today.  I would just like to remind people that funk can be fun to dance to and you can remix songs to make them more interesting and fun to dance to with out it being house music.
