Timesaver is Xen Model’s third full length album and second release on the Causal Chain imprint. Club-focused head nodders “Pin Cycle”, “Face Forward”, and “Controller” accompany key tracks like “Arm’s Edge Reach” and “Grip Dial”, which channel the duo’s affinity for ambient music. “A Bright Star” spotlights a catchy guitar hook and features close collaborator 11ai. Xen Model’s signature play on halftime structure is engaged in bass-heavy cuts “Ripstream” and “Local Group”. The album comes to a close with a radio edit of their previously released track “Lurch”, which clusters the duo’s myriad styles and influences in an encapsulating statement of the Xen Model sound.

One year after the release of René Danger's Gwerz Boy, we are back with two remixes of the cathartic Gwerz that concluded the album : Enez Eusa.
Inspired by the chiptune arpeggios of René's arrangement, half-Brazilian half-Brezhoneg producer @lefrit envisioned it underlined by a Dembow beat, and came up with two very different variations of this same idea.
The Minidance remix takes the downtempo approach, with a minimalist but groovy beat and a digital voice emerging to harmonize the Gwerz melody. The LSDJ Turbo Megamix is a chaotic Yoshi-led remix alternating between reggeaton rhythms and fast-paced bass beats, ready to hit the dancefloors !

What would you do if you were having problems getting served at McDonalds or you had forgotten your laptop password?

For some West Midlands residents the answer was to dial the emergency only 999 number and ask for police assistance.

And the bizarre calls to the police don’t end there. Residents have called the three 9s for emergencies including lost property, asking for directions and when they’ve been denied entry to a nightclub.

But there is a serious side to these calls – the people ringing 999 for inappropriate reasons are potentially putting lives by taking call handlers’ time away from genuine emergency calls. Chief Inspector Sally Holmes from Force Contact at West Midlands Police, said: “These calls are ridiculous. Its astonishing listening to them but they hide a serious truth. Each call often takes minutes to deal with as our staff have to clarify the situation – it might not sound like much but if someone is trying to get through to report a genuine life or death emergency, then a minute is a very long time to wait.”

“I cannot stress enough that the 999 number is for emergencies only, for guidance this is defined as: a crime is in progress, someone suspected of a crime is nearby, when there is a danger to life or when violence is being used or threatened. To contact police for any other reason, call 101.”

Buenos Aires-born producer Pablo Betas — known as Bungalovv — celebrates his return to the Infinite Machine family with the release of the enchanting debut album, Donde Hubo Fuego.

Proceeding his 2017 EP ‘Luz Mala‘, which was coined by THE FADER as 'an unlikely entente between the sinister and the seductive', his reappearance to the imprint is analogous to this. Currently residing in Berlin, Bungalovv is also a founding member of TRRUENO, a collective and label that was born in Buenos Aires, united by new technologies as a resource and means to expand the spectrum of aesthetic possibilities in electronic, experimental, performance and audiovisual scenes.

Pulling inspiration from a diverse appetite comprised of dembow, obscure club experiments and animalistic synthesis, Bungalovv also utilises foley recordings exceptionally across the ten tracks. Flickers of the album opener ‘Bandera Robada’, are a cautionary suggestion of what lies ahead. And with antagonistic titles like ‘Soil Taste’ shaped from stabbing timbres and unpredictable time signatures like an Omni-angular sonic attack, you get pulled into a sinful parallel universe as the LP progresses. Cries of distortion, time-stretched cinematic doom, and unquantised ASMR excerpts are glued together like a tapestry, laying among devastating blows that meteor into a landing pad of extraordinary composition.

Complimentary of his mind-bending DIY live performance, the album is beautifully balanced, humanised, mechanical and elegant. Releasing in late April, this is by far Bungalovv's most refined and developed work to date.
