Local Talk are honoured to welcome Trevor Lawrence Jr. 
With a CV that reads the who's who in the music scene today, Lawrence's performance and recording credits include Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones to name a few. Tiptoe is taken from Trevor Lawrence Jr debut solo record, Relationships, released in 2017. On this release, we're re-releasing the original together with remixes by DJ Spinna.  The Brooklyn legend applies his magic to 'Tiptoe', combining warm and soulful vibes with a house touch. A must-have for not only for the soulful house heads but also anyone that loves quality in music.

Number eighteen on San Francisco’s Manjumasi showcases a pair of deep, groovy productions from the Miami-based Postrel brothers, m.O.N.R.O.E. + Adisyn. The title track “Acid Mating Call” is a deep, seductive tune with an absolutely hypnotic melody. Despite the soft and gentle tone, this one is irresistible on the dance floor. Next up is “Terminal Bliss,” which showcases the darker side of this duo’s sound, with a more melancholic groove punctuated by deep chords, with a mystical melody that floats off in the distance, alluring but just out of focus.

The first remix comes from UK veteran producer Martin Iveson aka Atjazz. His “Galaxy Aart Remix” of Terminal Bliss is an incredibly lush and ethereal take on the original. Galaxy describes the tone of this remix well, with a super spaced-out vibe and a wide soundfield that washes over the listener. Luscious percussion fills out the mix, with a simple but beautiful vocal hook anchoring the humanity of this mix.

Rounding out the package is a remix of Acid Mating Call from Ultrastation, the new techno collaboration between Cosmic Force and Nuno Dos Santos. Their remix puts the Acid in this Mating Call, a late-night techno stomper with swirling dubbed-out reverbs and delays layered over staccato synth stabs, and a trippy synth breakdown that breaks into pieces just before returning to a potent, powerful groove.

Il mixe un son sexy, deep et groovy minimal. Il a été pendant deux ans en résidence au Tropic Café et a mixé à plusieurs reprises au Folie's Pigalle pour les soirées Be Love. En parallèle, Mathieu Saxifrage travaille sur ses compositions grâce à sa formation de musicien et d'ingénieur du son. Il sait notamment jouer du piano et de la batterie. Aujourd'hui il propose un répertoire minimal deep house dynamique et continue son travail sur des productions électro minimal deep house. Mathieu Saxifrage has been a DJ for the past ten years and had the opportunity to mix with Greg Cerrone at Le Cab, with Mickaël Kaïser at Le Vinyll and in Hong Kong for Mercury Productions event. He plays funky, deep, and pumpin house. During two years he had residency in Le Tropic Café and he had occasions to rock several times the Be Love Party at Le Folie's Pigalle. At the same time, Mathieu Saxifrage works as a sound designer and focuses on his own electro deep house productions. He is curious to meet you and mostly singers.
