Hungry Music has the kind of waterproof musical aesthetic that not many labels with under twenty releases under their belt have. The output is bold and atmospheric at same time. Travels through misty soundscapes are just one of their trademarks. The french label established its sound through a close circle of friends - namely, Worakls, N’to & Joachim Pastor.

It’s now time to let some of the most powerful recent releases get re-interpreted through six exclusive remixes.

The Hungry gang took on each others work and also invited luminaries and friends of the label such as Oliver Koletzki, Einmusik and Boris Brejcha to provide a mix for the first in a series of upcoming remix EPs.

We have the exclusive premiere of Anii's interpretation of "Decay" on Polymath! Forthcoming 04/11/16

Polymath continues on it’s thematic journey, this time touching on the concept of ‘Decay’. Leading the troupe is renowned duo Digitaria. Their piece relies on a hypnotic, chugging bass-line and melodic leads to reveal their thoughts on the theme. The lead synth plays with decay and sustain parameters to reinforce the idea, and a suspenseful break adds to the compelling mood.

Polymath head Third Son, and Sincopat’s Darlyn Vlys, collaborate for the first time to bring us a heads down, melancholic affair, with a clear message. The words “The end is the same for everyone one”, points towards the idea of death, emphasising the theme.

Newcomer Ańii, makes her Polymath debut in style. A relentless bass-line coupled with dark atmospheres makes this one for the later nights. Arpeggiated chords enter the arrangement during a break before once again being pushed out by the powerful low end.

This week we're excited to have fast rising producer Ańii gracing our mix series and she's surprised us with a slew of new unreleased material.

A Polish transplant based in London Ańii has been carefully and strategically amassing a wealth of knowledge and honing her skills in the studio and behind the decks. For the better part of 6 years Ania Iwinska studied English in London as well as attending the world renowned Point Blank Music School. 

With a series of successful releases and remixes on prominent labels such as EIN2, Click Records, Selador, Making You Dance and Polymath the stage is set for Ańii to have a fruitful 2017.
