I walk in the maiden flames

weaving intricate webs of grace

with the swing of my big belly and hips

and the hum from my lips

I dance

in the light

and the shadow

of the fire.

I disintegrate

with the embers.

And from the ashes,

I rise into 

motherhood.

Thank you to the dance floors who have watched me blossom, it is soon time for me traverse the passage into motherhood. 

This was the last set I played at Yoga Barn Oct 24, 2021, and I trust it won't be my last. See you on the other side.

On the mystical 8:8 portal, under the shimmering alignment of cosmic energies, I had the honor of weaving sound for Julia & Noah’s wedding afterparty. This wedding was no ordinary wedding. It was EXTRAORDINARY. 

The theme for afterparty—Eros, Play, Celebration—came alive as the music became a vessel for connection, laughter, and ecstatic release.

The set unfolded as a journey of rhythm and heart: sultry grooves that sparked playful encounters, pulsating beats that lifted spirits higher, and soaring melodies that reminded us of the infinite joy of love. With every track, the dance floor became a temple of celebration, where passion met tenderness and friends became family in motion.

It was more than just an afterparty—it was an initiation into joy itself, carried by the fire of Eros and the freedom of the 8:8 portal. A night etched in rhythm, sweat, and starlight ✨💃🕺

A heart howl for us all to rise into our highest calling, our greatest artist, dancer, human being. In right relationship with the planet, our community and ourselves! Where we truly embody the belief that everything we touch can alchemize into beauty.

We are surrounded by the dreamers and the doers, the believers and the thinkers, the artists and the singers, and the rebels who dance to the beat of their own drum. Real-life pom pom’s who motivate and inspire me to align my actions with my highest values, wildest visions and deepest love!

This past Sunday, I got to share from that place ~ BBC came to film a feature on ecstatic dance, the creative process, and how and why this movement is bringing us closer to our bodies, creativity, our inner healer and each other in community. So many of you came and danced and shared your beautiful, funky, sweaty, vulnerable selves. 

I can’t quite express how much you inspire me!

I give thanks to the dancers and DJ’s who keep showing up week in and out with your offerings, keeping this movement alive. @Karishma and Frasier for being the world-bridgers to the BBC community; @Yogabarn for being our mothership, Emma, Sifoux & Lisa for being brave storytellers of their dance journeys. And last but certainly not least, my Beloved, Raio, who’s music genius inspires and has been my #1 cheerleader every single air boot step of the way. 

And so I share this ecstatic dance mix ~ music by amazing beings from around the world. El Buho, Raio, TempleStep, Peia, Satsang to name a few. An offering to the wild ones, and to the new ones who are ready to dip their toes into the soup. As with any ritual, carve out the space and time in your schedule, switch off your phones, turn up the volume and dig deep when you’re ready. This mix is full spectrum with surprising turns ~ into the sweet, fun, chaotic and the sacred. 

And as you open and expand, may it remind you that you are indeed surrounded by an entire community who believes in you, too!
