Sometimes in life you literally have to minister to yourself. I was doing that just the other day, no music, no computer, just me and The Word! After reading some things I flipped to one of my favorite verses; 

Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to the that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." 

Wow!!! I immediately started to play "Magnify Your Name"  by Shekinah Glory Ministry and used a while back by the legendary Robert Hood aka "Floorplan." I had such a good time blasting the original that I wanted to put my own touch on this classic song. I hope you guys enjoy and I hope its able to touch someone like it touched me. (Let's Go)

It's really cool how the universe works. I've been wanting to really get back into my "Disco Roots" and start making a few dance edits here and there. My brain was totally locked on what old songs songs to try, then out of nowhere one of my lifelong buddies Brian Slaughter messages me and says hey: "Maybe you should remix "Stay Free" by the legendary Ashford & Simpson." I hadn't heard this song in over 30 years but since Brian has such good taste in music I gave it a listen. The moment the song started I knew this was going to be an absolute "Floor Filler" Woooweeee!!! I Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did making it... \o/

What more can be said about the living legend Steveland Morris aka Stevie Wonder! I tried to sum it up in a mix I did of his remixes a few years ago with just two words: "Musical Genius!" Stevie music is always cool, captivating and spiritual all at the same time. "Overjoyed" is from Stevie's 1985 album 'In Square Circle' and like so many of his songs is a total gem. Its so smooth and Jazzy, I just wanted to put that "4am Touch" on it for the dance floor. Enjoy...

DJing allows me to express a lifelong love for music while also making people happy. Growing up in the Virgin Islands, and having artistic parents (one dancer, one musician) made for a melting pot of artistic inclinations and eclectic musical eccentricities. A household that is filled with calypso, soca, to hip hop and R&B, to funk, gospel, and classical music leads one to always search for a groove in whatever form it comes and gives an individual a rich infusion of musical influences from which to draw from. This translates to sets and mixes that are the best samples of music that I love and that listeners can groove to.

Navigating through the many aspects of the music scene, both locally and abroad, has taught me that if there's music to be played and people to enjoy it then that's where I want to be. A groove can only be held onto for as music is played. Once the music stops, the search to find it begins. This never ended cycle is what drives me to always seek additions to my library.

I like playing music and making people happy regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date.
