This first journey evolves around current local House music labels & producers related to the SF Bay Area.  
It was raining for some time during the creation of this mix, so the intro sets the perfect environment for the audience.  This particular mix shines the light on tracks released or available in 2018.  
The outro is a field recording that sets the mood for the next chapter.

The concept of this mix series will focus on a thematic group of DJ mixes while representing/promoting artists solid in their craft.    
The reference to the "Paw" is based on the artist's production and DJ alias (el gato #9).  
The paw print in the main image was taken from one of the critters in the el otro mundo family.  

Some of the upcoming mixes will be a drastic comparison to each other but similar in structure/execution.  

The equipment for these consists of Pioneer CDJ's, various Technics 1200 turntables, and a 4-channel RANE mixer.
