In shadows of dusk, two strangers found,
Amidst beautiful melodies, on sacred ground.
He held her gently, a tender refrain,
Her neck, his canvas, where love would reign.

From behind, he kissed, a secret delight,
As music evolved, their hearts took flight.
Lost in the rhythm, they swayed in time,
Hand in hand, fingers intertwined.

Emotions crescendo, like stars in the sky,
Invisible threads, their souls would tie.
The spotlight found them, a radiant gleam,
In their embrace, they forged a new reality.

Worlds around them disappeared,
In this dance of love, their hearts erupted.
Two separate lives converged under the moon's tender glow,
Under one embrace, both of their breathes became whole.

It’s the one magical word - just by its sound it can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love. Welches Wort gemeint ist? Kleiner Tipp: Dieser Mix von @k2w0music ist f****** good. Für die gar nicht mal so komplizierte Auflösung musst du einfach den Play-Button von Schleichcast°43 anklicken und dann wird sie bereits im Intro nicht zu verfehlen sein. Natürlich empfehlen wir aber, dir die volle Stunde Ohrenschmaus zu gönnen, denn dieses Set ist irgendwie like a box of chocolate. Du weißt nie so genau, wie sich die Stimmung weiter ihren Weg bahnt und ob der nächste Track groovy und leichtherzig-beschwingt oder ein bisschen böse und bouncig-schiebend um die Ecke kommt. Oder wie der musikalische Creator selbst sagen würde: ein gut gewürzter Hotpot mit üppiger Zutatenliste. Wir finden, die Geschmacksexplosion ist ihm durchaus gelungen und freuen uns riesig, den Londoner DJ und Producer mit an Bord auf schleichender Mission zu haben. Für noch mehr K2W0-Sound raten wir dringend dazu, in sein letztjähriges Fusion-Set (f**** good!) und die zahlreichen Releases auf Labels wie LOKD, Crépite und Kamai reinzuhören.

I'm Khayal aka K2W0 originally from Karachi, Pakistan, and living in London.


>>When and how did you start your musical journey?
My musical journey began when I was 12 years old, playing the guitar in the realm of metal and rock music. From that point on, it became my passion and I discovered the world of electronic music

>>What inspired you while creating the set?
I was inspired by a hotpot meal, which featured various meats, vegetables, and spices. This diverse and flavorful experience prompted me to create the set. 

>>Your perfect cure against a hangover?
For a hangover, my perfect cure would be pizza and beer. 

>>Which moment of your artist life has had a lasting influence on you?
Playing live at Fusion Festival has had a lasting influence on my life as an artist.

Once, someone attempted to steal my USB, but their attempt failed. Later, they came and apologized for their actions.

Episode 78 was mixed by @poyu_mainz, host of Glow In The Dark (Mainz) and founding member of Al Forno.

Poyu has been behind the turntables across Germany for over 15 years. His initial enthusiasm for house and disco has gradually given way to an eclectic approach, which now manifests itself in cross-genre sets and all kinds of electronic music. He is a member of the Mainz-based collective Al Forno and organises events at irregular intervals at which regional artists in particular present their work alongside international musicians.

For the July edition of Wayward, I was very excited to welcome back one of my favourite local DJs, Alkemiss Erika, who also played at my re-launch of Wayward at F8 in 2021! Rounding out the lineup were Moises and Taking Back Sundance, who also threw down some excellent sets. Vibes and energy were high all night, and the F8 staff even let me keep going past closing for an extended set. Hope you like it!

SPASIBA (spa-sí-ba) blessing in Belarusian: meaning “thank you”. 

SPASIBA (Katya Stepanov) is a Belarusian-Jewish-American DJ, artist and entrepreneur based in Brooklyn. 

SPASIBA spins a world of sound. Born in Minsk and raised in the concrete jungles of NYC, SPASIBA’s sound is a syncretic fusion of European melodies and Latin beats. Katya’s sets are a journey. She braids together Afro, Latin & European house, techno, D&B, jungle rhythm, disco, trance, and driving melodic EDM with a splash of mysticism and soul. 

SPASIBA got her start as a champion Latin Ballroom dancer, received her BFA at CMU’s School of Drama, and is committed to co-creating dance floors where notions of self are shed at the door and standing in place becomes physically impossible. She creates resonance through the power of breath, bass, sweat, and sonic alchemy.
