In 1988 I remember buying a 12" called 'Weekend' by Todd Terry. I fell in love with it upon first listen, and it would always make the dance floor go crazy whenever I played it.
A few months later while record shopping I came across the Class Action original, and was completely blown away, not only by its absolute awesomeness, but also at how TT made it his own.
I've wanted to do an edit of the original for a long time now, and came up with this last Weekend. ;-)

Hey everyone. It sure has been a minute! This is my first radio mixshow in nearly 6 years! Originally recorded April 1, 2024.. I am just getting around to posting it today, April 23 (One week before my 55th Birthday :) ) I have been on quite a journey (as many have in the world) these last 4-5 years and I really have been wanting to record one of these for some time and thanks to a dear friend of mine in Orlando named Alim Abrahim who pushed me and had all the gear all set up, recording this became a no brainer :)

I went back to my roots here as I am about to approach the young age of 55 :) ... with some of my favorites from over a span of 40 plus years to some of my new current favorites... Soul, House, Afro, Disco, Deep, Tech, Soulful House...etc. ..it's all in there complete with full playlist below. Enjoy!!
