Oh what a year...

Renowned for their intimate and hedonistic parties including alfresco daytime events on the Prince Of Wales, Brixton’s wonderful Terrace, Deep Into Soul have continued in 2017 to bring you some of the biggest international DJ’s alongside some of the UK’s finest on the House scene. Debuts this year have included Tony Humphries, Jamie 3:26, Ashley Beedle, Afronaut, Q Narongwate, At One, and Kitty Amor.

On the festival circuit, we were honoured to have teamed up with the mighty Southport Weekender and the Liverpool Disco Festival, hosting boat parties, after parties and huge arenas, with guests including David Morales, Joey Negro, Kai Alce, Grant Nelson and Josh Milan to name but a few.

For our end of year Party we have decided to go with an all UK Line up to celebrate the talent and greatness we have right here, so get ready to dance your ass off with an insanely friendly dance crowd that appreciate some of the finest house music that the capital has to offer in an unrestrained party atmosphere. One of the really cool things about living in Miami the last few years is that one of my favorite DJ/Producers of all time Louie Vega plays here a lot. Every time he spins one of his iconic sets I absolutely loose my mind and get even more inspired and more excited about the state of Soulful House Music. One of the things I love about Louie is his wide musical range. They guy plays and creates Deep, Soulful, Gospel, Afro, I mean there are no boundaries for this guy. I also love that he partners with some of the best singers and musicians from all genres. You totally feel the many layers in his musical productions. Well, needless to say after his recent visit here I had to run home and pull out of my Vega classics. Totally unplanned I just started playing. The music community  just recently lost the great James Ingram (RIP) a few weeks ago so I wanted to open the set with him singing "Lean On Me" from the old Masters at Work days. Secondly I dropped "Elevator" which is still one of my favorites songs from any genre the last few years featuring the incomparable Ms. Monique Bingham. I played some Deep Instrumentals, some Afro and just some good ole "House Bangers." So get Set Up, Plug In, and let's get ready to go on another Louie Vega journey...

Artist Info: 
Bristol-based producer Sean McCabe has had plenty of time to develop his own sound. Famously, he released his first tracks in 2003 at the tender age of 17 and has spent the last decade fine-tuning a trademark sound that is effortlessly soulful.

McCabe made his name in house, developing a long-running relationship with legendary US garage label King Street Sounds and remixing the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Evelyn Champagne King, Carolyn Harding, Blaze, and Roland Clark. Since then, he’s amassed an impressive discography of nearly 100 releases, delivering inspired reworks for labels like Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm, Vega Records, Tribe, and Quantize – plus an original solo album for Z Records.

A quick listen to any of his productions or one of his superb DJ sets will confirm this attractive, emotion-rich aesthetic. While rooted in house, his sound regularly takes on flavours of disco, boogie, Afro, deeper grooves, proto-house, ‘90s garage-house dubs and much more besides.
