Spex aka. Rob ist ein deutscher Musikproduzent und Filmeditor, aus Schweinfurt.
Während der Lehrzeit hieß es immer: „niemals werde ich etwas mit Ton machen! Ton ist Mist!“
Doch wie so oft kam es anders. Immer mehr Audio & Video Equipment hat sich angesammelt und schon bald konnte damit ein kleines Studio für Audio/Videoproduktionen eingerichtet werden.
Die Suche nach einer Stilrichtung hat sich als kompliziert erwiesen. 
Es wurde viel experimentiert, bis er zum Entschluss  gekommen ist,  sich von den Stilrichtungen zu entfernen und durch die Musik leiten zu lassen.

Spex steht für experimentellen Techno, mit Stilelementen aus allen Richtungen.

Spex a.k.a. Rob is a music producer and film editor from Schweinfurt, Germany. 
During his apprenticeship he used to say: „I'll never do anything with sound. Sound is shit.“ 
But things worked out differently. He began to collect more and more equipment and built himself a small studio. Attracted now to audio, he began to search for a style. Spex experimented, then he experimented some more. And then some more, until he decided to forget about „style“ but instead be guided by the music itself. 

Spex stands for experimental Techno with style elements from every direction.
