I Never take Requests when putting together a Mixtape! But there is Always an Exception to The Rule. My dear friend Dawn aka "D-Squared" asked me to put together a Josh Milan "Best Of" of sorts a while ago, and since she is my Girl and I love Josh Milan it seemed to be a Match Made in Heaven as they say. Mr. Milan is a Super talented Singer, Producer, Writer, Remixer and DJ to boot. Josh started his House Music career with the group Blaze in 1990 with Kevin Hedge and from there, Blaze and Josh never looked Back! On this Mix Josh has his Thumb Print on all of these tunes, mostly featuring his Beautiful and Original singing voice. With Cuts "Found Love" by Blaze, Mathew Bany's "Wish" and hard to find gem, "Love is The Key" by Shuya Okino This Mix should make "D-Squared" and hopefully You as well, Very Happy!

The Music Of Josh Milan

It was 1980 in Detroit Michigan where I first fell in Love with this Music. I was 13 years old and the Music of Choice for Me and my Friends was Progressive Dance Music. We didn't know it at the time but We were actually creating a Musical Lifestyle of sorts that would follow many of us the rest of our lives.

Sure there would be periods when no music was bought and no new mixes were produced, but time would go by and before you knew it This Music Thing would just Grab hold to Me again...

In 2012 My Musical Journey started again! This dance music would prompt me to start mixing on the web via my YouTube Channel with over 45K followers, and Soundcloud with over 5K and counting... This music would even take me around the U.S and as far away as Beijing China to DJ (Twice). I'm  really excited now more than ever because I am are currently living in Miami and DJing at my residency at N'Namdi Contemporary Gallery.
