Chapters: slow, dark, & chill > slow, dark, & punchy > POV: your phone is cursed > somehow reggaeton neo, and lyrical all in a row > tone it back a bit > chill R&B (adjacent) > a lil more drama > a familiar cooldown.

>> DJ Nerds << Picking up after Vinny, this set was half experimental, half safe. The feedback from the first nights of the festival (as usual) was, "the music was too safe, not Interfusion-y enough." So I took a risk and played into the slow, electronic, fusion-y vibes that are hard to get away with outside of an event like Interfusion. I'm not sure they landed at the day party so, after committing to half of a set cooling down the room and experimenting, I pivoted to the safe stuff that I knew would resonate with people. As a rule, I'm okay with killing the vibe in my own set, but try to always get the room in a good spot for the next DJ which Efosa, as usual, took to another level.
