The first quarter of my set from Shangri-La, a home and community that hosts gatherings including a monthly Brazilian Zouk social organized by Andrea Erhart. Originally recorded as one marathon 4 hour set, cut into 4 pieces for distribution.

Chapters: Alt / Trap / Moombahton opener > light R&B / Afrobeat > chill Alternative > punchy electronic > spacey.

DJ Nerds: At this point, I've been mixing between pre-recorded blocks for a little over an hour, mostly serving as background music while waiting for the party to reach critical mass. To transition into live DJing, I wanted a dramatic and energetic block to feel different and capture attention before playing with small waves and genre changes to begin to tap into the room.
