Sunset Ecstatic Dance Set at Wickanninnish Beach near Tofino and Ucluelet on the infinitely beautiful west coast of Canada.

The skies were gray and a bit rainy all day. I prayed to the weather gods, and the skies fully opened up as we started dancing, giving way to a heartwarming sunset. I ran into the ocean after the set!

Last minute replacement for a DJ that couldn't make it:
45-min set that starts with ethnic dub ramping up from chill to house, transitioning to a bit of funk, closing with some west coast and reggae dub

An eclectic journey with a start and end focus on medicine songs, blended with organic, house and funky tunes in the middle. Calibrated for joy and inner cultivation of light, elements very needed in this time of chaos

Oct 27 Dance Temple - Campbell River

Even though I am primarily an ecstatic dance DJ, and don't play much European underground rave music anymore, it was my first love to dance to, and I still have a soft spot for it

This is mostly a European techno & trance set, with some house elements near the end, 110-130 bpm. Recorded by myself just for fun. Trance out while driving, cooking or studying :)

This ecstatic dance set starts off with Middle Eastern/Palestinian music, inviting any grief to arise around the genocide. Then the music turns more powerful and uplifting, transmuting the grief into joy and activation, before coming down into peaceful integrative tones.

The lovely @hellomissdiamond screened her new docuseries on her time spent at Tamera Peace Research Centre, a world famous ecovillage created for the purpose of learning how to relate to one another more authentically, so we can remove barriers and conflicts towards working together and creating peace on the planet

Jan 1, 2024 - Visiting the Village of Lovers, Decompression Dance

The song 'Be Svendsen - Twilight of Tankwa' came on in the car and my friend said, "I could dance all night to this kind of music."

Challenge accepted! I made a set with as much music in my collection that had a similar sound: repetitive, trancey desert beats interlaced with quirky sound effects. For added quirkiness I threw in some urban tracks in the end.

Life is a journey ~ we go through dark times, happy times ~ days of energetic activation, others of lethargy or contemplation ~ nights of fun and inhibition, others of healing and integration.

I try to encompass the whole spectrum of life as a journey in my sets. I hope you feel the waves and rhythms of your own journey as you navigate my set; that the different sounds evoke different emotions in your body so that they feel seen and heard, allowing for deeper connection and moving closer towards wholeness.

That is healing. I hope my music is your medicine.
