Elevate is a label run by Techno mainstays Pig&Dan who are an international DJ and production duo, who along with releases on Elevate are a regular feature on labels including Drumcode, Cocoon, Bedrock and Terminal M.

Finishing off 2016 with a look to the future, the label owners have compiled a special 21 track release titled ‘Next Generation’.

Handpicked by Pig&Dan themselves the new Elevate release is very much a family gathering, where Elevate favourites like Mark Reeve, Aitor Ronda, Rob Hes and Carlo Ruetz get to meet and interact with artists like Etai Tarazi, Fideles and Sezer Uysal who are making their debut appearance on the label.

Each of the artists who feature on the release come with a proven musical pedigree with artists like Mark Reeve having recently released on Drumcode, and Sezer Uysal is heavily associated with Suara.

Carlo Ruetz has done a solo release on Richie Hawtin’s iconic label Minus, and Etai Tarazi has put out a number of EP’s on Sian's Octopus Records.

The list of prestigious things achieved by each of the artists on Elevate's forthcoming Next Generation release is endless, and most importantly the music is nothing less than spectacular!

Dancefloor focused with tough grooves and captivating tones, each track is programmed to perfection, and this sampler showcases six of the tracks from the release.

The latest Intec release is from Mark Rogan, a Northern Irish artist whose dark and driving style of techno has been a feature of labels ranging from A.Pauls Naked Lunch to Rebekahs Decoy Records. Based in Belfast where he forms an integral part of the cities underground club scene, this is Mark Rogans first release on Intec, and with two solid tracks to show, we doubt it will be his last. Listing a diverse range of influences, Mark Rogan first discovered rock music before moving over to trance, and finally settling on his long-term love of techno, where he lists key influences such as The Advent, Speedy J, Ben Sims, Dave Clarke and Joey Beltram. 

First on the release is Phase 1 that starts with deep pad stabs layered over fast flowing percussion. Claps add energy to the groove whilst rushing ethereal pads add atmosphere and create tension. Timeless with a subtle tribal influence, this up-tempo slice of techno is reminiscent of early Intec releases from the likes of UMEK. 

The second track Phase 2 starts with the gritty sound of a raw percussion loop layered under piercing synths and vocal stabs. Classic in its structure this track going back to the roots of techno with its rough around the edges sampling techniques and sound design, but in the process delivers a wonderful sense of nostalgia with a distinctly modern twist.

Spektre's remix of “Memories” is distinctly harder from the start than the original with a toughened kick drum, lashing hi-hats and crunching claps. Teasing the original's euphoric lead synth, this stripped back version is all about the percussion, which thunders like a freight train. Spektre also add their own stabbing synth line to complete this monster of a rework.

Its been a long time for DANIEL SANCHEZ releasing a solo EP on his own BLA BLA imprint. Last year he has been busy touring with Sensation troughout the world and besides this he has been constantly building on his Bla Bla imperium.
In the studio he has been busy ever since. After his smashing remix for his brother Juan Sanchez and his recent hit smash Make My Day he finally found the time to complete this 2 track banger EP.
With this EP he chooses a more bigroom approach with pumping basslines and screaming vocals. For example the powerfull title track AWAKENINGS has all that ingredients! A murky, pumping bassline swirling beneath a thick groove that blends with hypnotic techno sounds. It combines the right amount of FX with howling synths and vocal shots to take any party to another level!

The remix is provided by man of the moment producer from italy 
STEFANO NOFERINI. Stefano has been releasing hit after hit and also with this remix he hits the right spots. He provides a slick pumping groove with a ferocious bassline and he combines this in a great way with the elements of the original. This will destroy any dancefloor!
