I have been DJ'ing for around 20 years (started when I was 16 and am now 36), I don't like to pigeon hole house music into different sub genres, as long as its good house music then I will play it.  I have successfully run my own nights and played at various bars and clubs around the UK and had stints in Ibiza and the Greek Islands.  I still play on CDJ's  as I cant bring myself to go to a laptop, although I understand the benefits, its hard though when you have come from a set of 1210's.  More recently I have gone back to where it all started for me 20 years ago, and playing the soulful house sounds.
