Michele Deepe - Look at the Light (Luca Febo remix snippet)

The first One Series show of 2015 took place on 23rd May at one of the finest clubs in North America, Beta, in association with awesome local crew, The Fantastic Hosts. The massive 4-stack Funktion One rig is legendary worldwide, and was an absolute thrill to take over for the night.

Beta were an amazing team to work with on the night, with everyone going the extra mile to  make this a truly special one. Special mention goes to Eric Basquez for building me a special touchscreen controller to enable me to show various words and short poems on the big LED screens through the night, which I suspect will be the first stepping stone on the road to live sets as Simon Shackleton that will, all being well, premier at the end of 2015.

Another spectacular One Series show with some inspirational collaborators. I hope you enjoy the mix, which as ever is a warts & all recording of the entire night :)

The One Series [DEN014] - Simon Shackleton - Denver

(PART ONE)

Recorded Live and unedited at Nutz Camp, Burning Man 2015 ... this most epic of One Series Sunrise sets wound up some time after 3pm. Given it's length (at around 9 hours), it has been split into two parts. For those of you looking for a single downloadable version, I may well put that on my Dropbox (download on request).

This Burn was my 7th, and the 6th playing Sunrise at Nutz. Far & away the biggest crowd to date gathered around dawn and joined me for 9 hours of pure magic, as only the playa can provide. This Burn was tough - the weather was aggressive, punishing and harsh, and we both commemorated huge losses (Jon Horvath, David Ringel) and learnt of the saddest of losses to our DISTRIKT family (Mike Reigle) as we were on the Playa.

This set held their spirits dear - a celebration of life, of love, or growth, of transformation, of commemoration.
