My dad introduced me to electronic music some 26ish years ago. Today 25 years ago (on the 25th august) he left planet earth at age 42. It might have been 43. I always thought it was 42. Deep House was his thing. I pressed record a short while ago and this one is dedicated to him. It's where my journey into becoming a DJ technically started - thanks entirely to him. In the era of low attention spans filled with click bate and two minute songs, putting out a 5-hour piece of content feels particularly good. Bring on the 10 part docuseries, right? 

The chance to open, build, peak and land a room like this is what I live for. As the night progressed, I blacked out in flow from being enveloped in the moment and in sound.  

Prancing on this dance floor for so many years, I have in a way been schooled & trained here. My approach to take on this room was something I had been visualizing for years. 

So it is with deep love for the underground that I offer this set to the internet. 

Thank you Stereo Montreal for creating an environment for the culture to continue to flourish. No phones, No gimmicks, just pure sound and humans that come together out of the same passion. I am honoured to call Montreal home, and I wouldn't be the person I am today without all the humans who have contributed to this space before me.
