On 8/9 we gathered to celebrate the lives of our courageous Leos and danceifest our deepest desires.

It was my honor to serve over an hour of heavy and heady garage house bass bassline grime and all kinds of funky breaks.

Some weird lil moments where my big wizard cloak brushed the decks but it all still slaps.

The highlight of the night was ALL the homies showing up in full force; w/ blankets and lawn chairs to indulge this weirdness.
The crazy thing is that the spatial acoustics in geodesic domes are notoriously weird.... it gets even weirder when you play music specifically designed to mess with stereo fields, thank god for headphones.

In this time of the equinox, balancing the day and night, light and dark, hot and cold, we are called to balance ourselves. Sometimes balance means leaning much more to one side to relocate our center. Do you need more yin, or more yang, to find your balance?

Intuitively channeling a sonic prayer, Ra Ma Agua accompanied this set with their tribal style vocals and polyphonic throat singing. They begin singing around 1:11:11 thru the set until the end.
