July 2001 Electrypnose project was born... 20years later, a small family event was organized to celebrate. 2 sets were played, one in the afternoon evolving with the happier side of the music project... A second one in the night going in the deeper side... both sets were recorded and made available here, showcasing the most recent work done along with some older classics :)

There was 1h of chill music played before this recording, but it was very similar to older chill sets already available, I decided to take this part off the recording

(there is some saturation on this record by clipping the zoom recorder.. sorry about that)

Not such a long time ago, on a unique piece of land called Central America lived a magical ‘’Golden Frog’’… It was thought to turn into gold after death and manifest fertility, regeneration and rebirth. These frogs are the keepers of the secrets of transmutation… In a world of abundance and harmony on all levels, they sing to us that we are wealth, that we are THE wealth…

The natives of the area, masters at protecting their environment, are driven by the deep belief that spirituality and ecology are one and for all… Their used to represent the golden frog in ‘’huacas’’, statuettes made out of gold… The ‘’fully charged’’ religious items would travel a long way to find themselves in numerous ceremonial centers of the Mayan Empire…  

These tiny colorful frogs (will you be able to ear their delicate chirping in the jungle symphonie ?) fueled by purity and love, can only exist when the tropical forest is pristine, so with exceptional purity of water… Their presence is a sign of life flowing naturally, every single drop of paradise turning itself  in to a perfectly balanced source of life, speaking with its rhythm, one with the frequencies from space… 

The ‘’Golden Frog’’ has a very special relationship with sound, as it lacks ear drums… The vital perception of sounds is happening through the lungs, as there are directly under the skin in that unique specie, and vibrate when sound waves hit them… Water, emotions, vibrations, breathing… All in one in a small magical being the color of gold…

The Sound of Nutek Chill Records is a rich ground for solid bass lines… This primordial vibration in music, especially in dance music, is like the divine pulse of water in the jungle, bringing life to the forest, irrigating the roots of the world… 

Bass lines are in music what the roots of all plants and trees are in nature… The essence of energy transformed into movement to bring life and growth… An untouched ecosystem and dance music have something vital in common… Their need for a continuous flow of bass lines, of water, love and purity to nourish the roots of all sentient beings…
