I am happy to play you a first teaser of my latest remix I did in time for Miami Music Week for SUPER TALENTED helvetic nerd Calippo. A deeper and more groovy edge of my music.

For the 200th release on our label we picked a secret weapon from our catalogue that gets a face lift by no one else than swiss based superstar EDX, who's current track 'Reckless Ardor' peaked beatport number 2 spot of deep house genre and 12 of overall chart.

CALIPPO's original  track BACK THERE still gets a lot of airplays from some of the biggest global players, now EDX delivers a huge floor filler remix on top, by adding his signature sounds to the track and make it up to be a sure club anthem.

For Pan-Pot's second release on their new imprint they fall nothing short of what you would expect from the infamous duo. 

"Grey Matter" is a stormer made especially for the intense peak time strobe lights of a dark sweaty club. The pulsing stabs and swelling bass in combination with the rolling hi-hats and shakers keep the energy flowing upward. 
Don't let the word grey in the title fool you, this track is more a burning red. Just like the deep ominous vocal says, "We're burning"!

On the flip side is "Substance“ and with this one, Pan-Pot showcase their vast knowledge of what tension can do on the dance floor. From beginning to end, it teases with builds that never quite go over the edge. Constantly increasing, it creates the desire for just a little more while never giving you the satisfaction of a resolution. 

It's a concept that only masters can make work and when it does, it's nothing short of brilliant.

Me and stef (riva starr) were out vinyl shopping in williamsburg, brooklyn earlier this year when we met this dude ranting in the street about some 3 day bender he had been on (and possibly still was....) we hooked him into our serato and chopped him up into a tune. I just wish we’d caught his full name.......

Hailing from Singapore in South East Asia, Suri (aka SURIA) has been on the decks for over 5 years. He started DJ’ing at the age of sixteen with a focus on Electronic Dance Music and has been working on his career as a musician ever since. Today he resides in New York City after moving here three years ago to attend University to attain a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. After arriving in the United States, Suria has had many gigs around Manhattan including some big house music venues such as Santos Party House. He has also played in Singapore at Designer Clubs such as Barkode and Phunk. SURIA is formerly known as Rolodeck. He is also part of a DJ Group titled McSpicy Music, where him and long-time pal Marco Castaño (aka Castaway) produce music and spin high-energy sets in New York City.
