We are absolutely thrilled to present you the return of Solaris to the label finally! It´s been a long time in the making, but we shortened your wait with Aurora/ New Moon on PARADUBS002 which came from the same set of tracks. So, here you have it: 4 more timeless tunes by a gifted man like Dean! 

'Beautiful Things' don´t ask for attention, it never lets itself be seen! This tune ends this epic journey and guides you back home. An intense ride. With dark pads, hard synths, hard breaks, and booming 808´s. So tough it even makes Sean Penn stop in his tracks.

The track samples have been gently edited to show all important parts of the tunes.

Omni Music welcomes another newcomer to the label, the talented 'Bad 4 Life'. He starts his journey on the label with Stargazing, a jazz-inspired beautiful throw back to the classic 90's atmospheric sound, complete with flickers of piano and rolling rhythms. The title track Bamboo Forest begins with scintillating arpeggios and glistening pads that are punctuated by chopping breakbeats as the serene tale rolls along. The EP ends on Sheila, an energetic jazz-funk roller that offers timeless sounds and a dynamic double bass riff that completes this trio of musical enchantment.

Ben Smith aka Spacematters was introduced to drum and bass in the early 2000s by close friend Bangaz. Not long after, he teamed up with a crew of like-minded heads—Darg, Mullet, Fog, and Luckman—to form 2FG, making their mark at gigs across New Zealand’s South Island.

By the mid-2000s, Spacematters began crafting his own beats, drawing heavy influence from artists like Loxy, Pessimist, The Untouchables and a solid network of producers , his sound evolved with a clear focus: pushing the darker, deeper, and more underground realms of DnB.


Spacematters continues to champion the raw edge of drum and bass, staying true to the roots while forging ahead with a forward-thinking approach to sound.
