Three is the magic number… Correspondant mark their 99th release with ‘Numéro 3’, a brand new edition of their future-focused VA series.

Red Axes’ 2013 original has been one of Correspondant’s most popular tracks to date and Rebolledo’s remix was a huge twist in the tale back in 2018. Now Adam brings the heat with his own acidic twist in 2022… Maintaining everything we’ve always loved about the original but keeping it fresh and keeping it future, it’s a great update on a timeless track that captures Correspondant’s free spirit.

Premiere: Red Axes - Caminho De Dreyfus (Rebolledo Remix, Adam Ten 303 Retouch) [Correspondant]

From Barcelona, Fernanda Arrau is back, presenting her latest EP 'Sexy Dance.' The talented Chilean DJ and producer made her debut on the label with "Calypso" in 'Muy Divas Vol 1', and now she immerses us in a world of shimmering sounds and hypnotic rhythms. The EP, consisting of three cuts—two of them original versions and a masterful edit by Bawrut.

The EP kicks off with "Sexy Dance," a track that's fresh, fun, and simultaneously seductive. With a playful bassline, echoing vocals, an enjoyable cowbell, and a solid drumbeat, this 6-and-a-half-minute song leads listeners into a state of hypnotic dancing.

Moving on, we encounter "Simple," a track that dazzles with its depth and sparkle. The combination of the drums and the enveloping bass keeps your feet grounded, while the pure pads guide listeners on a delicate and enchanting journey.

The perfect conclusion to the EP comes from the hands of the renowned producer Bawrut, who delivers an enigmatic edit of "Jenny Lind." This hypnotic cut captivates you from the very beginning with its magnetic bassline and precise drumbeat that builds an irresistible atmosphere. The initial sounds repeat like a mantra throughout the track, while other elements join in a cyclical voyage.

Making the debut release on their new label, Powder Music, Made in TLV drop ‘Rehab’ with remix support from Simple Symmetry & Xen, and Rina.

Powder music is a new imprint from Israeli duo Liraz Levinson
and Aviv Bens (Made in TLV). Breaking on to the scene in 2017 with a series of incendiary releases, they were quickly snapped up by Asymmetric, Keinemusik and Blue Shadow. Now bedded into the fabric of the Tel Aviv elite, they travel the world with their unique sound.

‘Rehab’ is a rubbery mid set chugger with bags of personality. An acidic bass takes the lead from bar one growing organically into an infectious groove aimed squarely at the cooler floors. On remix duties, Simple Symmetry and Xen drop the tempo to envision a dark, druggy dub version that swells with e-moments, while Rina delves into harrowing soundscape-y minimalism.

Fortunately, Hungarian Papi Yourr has been around for a long time, and we're more than happy that he teamed up with Sobek for two hypnotic dance floor burners. Let’s take a look at each of these masterpieces one by one.

Duro Label proudly announces the release of "Baba Music Vol. II," the latest EP from Rina. The EP features exciting collaborations with JulyJuli and The Flying Spoon, as well as a joint effort with HNRQ. Adding to the musical tapestry are remixes by Shubostar and Made In TLV.

"Baba Music Vol. II" kicks off with "Daily Grind" featuring JulyJuli, a hypnotic and playful track. This solid cut captivates listeners with its potent rhythms and entrancing elements. JulyJuli's mesmerizing vocals weave seamlessly through the track, keeping the audience in a perpetual state of trance. Following this is the "Daily Grind (Made In TLV Remix)," which transforms the original into an epic journey tailored for those magical sunrise moments at a rave. The EP continues its sonic exploration with "De Sum," a collaborative effort between Rina and The Flying Spoon. The original version features a dreamlike melody that serves as the backbone of the composition. Complementing the original is the "De Sum (Shubostar Remix)," which offers a fresh perspective on this already captivating track. The EP reaches its pinnacle with "All My Friends Are TV Hosts," a stellar collaboration between Rina and HNRQ, resident DJ of Lux Frágil. The track envelops listeners in a cloud-like atmosphere, with melodies that evoke the sensation of floating through the stratosphere. In today’s electronic music world there are not many artists who can lay claim to a legacy like that of DJ T. Born in Dusseldorf, DJ T. (aka Thomas Koch,) re-located to Frankfurt with his family in the late 70s. During his formative years, he fell for the hypnotic grooves of disco, inspired by his parents’ record collec-tion. At the age of nine he was already completely enraptured by music and that love affair continues until this very day. He began an obsessive quest to collect music, feeding his soul with everything from Disco and Hi-Nrg, through to early Hip-Hop and Electro, Soul, Funk and R’n’B. The groovy, infectious rhythms of all those genres continue to permeate into the music he makes and plays today, providing an intrinsic part of his sound ethic. 
He took up breakdancing, before becoming a DJ, playing at private parties ini-tially before landing his first professional gigs in the late eighties. This period proved to be a pivotal moment in his life as Acid House swept through Europe, landing in Frankfurt and taking over with the launch of Sven Väth’s legendary Omen club in 1988. The first wave of House and Techno took hold and T. was there at the forefront, absorbing all the fresh new sounds from Chicago, Detroit and the UK. He picked up a residency at the infamous Music Hall and held resi-dencies at countless clubs across the city during the next 10 years from Plastik and Dorian Gray to The Box. By the end of the nineties, he was one of Frank-furt’s best-known selectors. 
In 1989 DJ T. tapped into another side of his creative energy to set up Groove Magazine. Identifying a gap in the market and fuelled by a need to satisfy his own desire for specialised music journalism, which focused on his interests – namely underground dance music. Under his leadership the magazine was launched into the public’s consciousness and he guided Groove to become one of Europe’s premier dance music publications, which it still is today. 
DJ T.’s progression continued at a pace, as he launched his own club, Monza, using the experience gained through a decade of club events and tours under the Groove Magazine banner. He also invested his skills and knowledge into con-ceiving Get Physical – a label, which remains one of the world’s best- known House and Techno platforms. Though he left in 2010, T. still occasionally A&Rs for the label, lending his uncanny ability to uncover new talent to the seminal label. 
Production-wise, he has been consistent ever since his debut release, the ‘Mon-sterbaze’ EP with Steve Bug, which was released on Poker Flat in 2000. Since then, T. has released several well-received EPs, a slew of remixes and three al-bums, ‘Boogie Playground’ in 2005, ‘The Inner Jukebox’ produced with Tho-mas Schumacher in 2009 and ‘Pleasure Principle’ in 2011. His special touch has also been employed by numerous labels to curate compilation mixes , including ‘United Under The Ball – 30 Years Of Disco’ in 2011 and ‘The House That Jack Built Vol 1 & 2’ in 2012. In 2013 he celebrated 25 years of DJing with a very personal mix compilation, followed also by ‘Body Language 15’ and col-laboration with Defected and Strictly Rhythm to celebrate the latter’s 25th anni-versary. DJ T.’s reputation for being a master selector has been cemented by these superlative collections of music, each of which has received widespread praise, often featuring many of T.’s own edits of classic tracks. 
Despite so many accolades, his passion for music remains staunch, recently making several key changes to his professional life that have inspired him to explore new terrains. With hot new releases on AUS Music, Moon Harbour, True Soul and Jackathon representing his continued to desire to push his crea-tive boundaries. 
A highly-skilled DJ and producer and an A&R with an uncanny ability to dis-cover a nurture new talent, DJ T. is a master selector and one of the industry’s most influential figures.
