Happy Pride! Summer is here in the U.S., and I am feeling the collective joy in the atmosphere. As we reflect on the contributions our forebears have made so that we can enjoy the freedom and acceptance that many of us enjoy today, I wanted to pay tribute to the tea dance, which was first created in Fire Island in the 1960s. I hope to carry on this distinctly American style of music and event well into the future. There's nothing like soaking up the afternoon sun surrounded by friends and great music.
