The EP opens with Afro Ritmo, a tribal house bomb packed with West African horns, spiritual chants and hypnotic grooves.

Sunga Sa is a darker trip with glitchy percussion, haunting guitar and powerful congas — deep, mysterious and ritualistic.

On the B-side, Afro Ritmo (De Gama Re-Groove) delivers a late-night afro-house weapon with raspy synths, bluesy guitar and thumping beats.

Finally, Afro Ritmo (Javier Morillas Remix) flips the track into a broken-beat, peak-time banger with killer basslines and bold breakdowns.

WOLFGANG VOIGT’s surprising return to the PROTEKT series with DIE SCHALLPLATTE caused a medium-sized ruckus among collectors when the limited vinyl release was timed to coincide with the Record Store Day 2016, annual hunting grounds for all sorts of self-respecting vinyl fetichists. Sure enough, the record’s utterly sold out by now – which is why we decided to release an extended digital version of this fascinating little techno ode to the black gold. Presenting the original VIDEO MIX alongside the WASSERMANN REMIX and the VINYL COUNTDOWN REMIX from the vinyl release, we put more bounce to the ounce with several additional, never-before-released versions, including a crunchy and appropriately trippy DJ KOZE REMIX. Fans of Voigt’s concept rave monicker WASSERMANN shouldn’t miss out on this.

Die überraschende Rückkehr von WOLFGANG VOIGT zur PROTEKT-Serie mit DIE SCHALLPLATTE sorgte für einen mittelschweren Sturm im Wasserglas, als das limitierte Vinyl-Release zeitgleich zum Record Store Day 2016 erschien, Jagdgrund für alle Arten von Sammlern. Ganz klar, dass die Platte inzwischen restlos vergriffen ist – was uns dazu veranlasst hat, eine erweiterte Digital- Version dieser faszinierenden kleinen Techno-Ode an das schwarze Gold zusammenzustellen. Mit dem originalen VIDEO REMIX an der Seite des WASSERMANN REMIX und des VINYL COUNTDOWN REMIX ist das ursprüngliche Release in grossen Teilen vertreten, erfährt aber einiges an Aufwertung mit mehren zusätzlichen, noch nicht zuvor veröffentlichten Versionen, darunter ein knuspriger und angemessen verspulter DJ KOZE REMIX. Fans von Voigts Konzeptrave-Projekt WASSERMANN sollten dies auf keinen Fall verpassen.

Exclusive Three Less One feat. Fleur 'Walking On My Dreams'

After releasing their track 'Like A Poem' on Moodmusic's 'Eclectic 03' compilation last year Italian duo Three Less One return to Sasse's label with a three tracker this time. 'Walking On My Dreams' is a homage to the deeper soundscapes of House music featuring the typical characteristics the genre has to offer but combining them in the most sensual way so that even Nick Holder's 'Erotic Illusions' would re-experience some 'Mind Sex'. There is no denying that Fleur's vocals add the little extra to the track as her voice charms the deep synth chords and the other way around. Three Less One and Fleur created a musical piece that transfers the sexiness of the genre from the noughties to the present but remains timeless and exhibits their fruitful collaborative talent as they continue their musical 'poem writing'.

Three Less One's EP 'Walking On My Dreams' will be released on July 27th, 2018 on Moodmusic.

Casino Times aka Nicholas Church and Joseph Spencer from London have been betting against the house for close to 10 years already, winning big with releases on Wolf Music, Needwant, Omena and their own Casino Edits label. The pair also hosts the radio Show “What’s My Derivative?” on Bloop Radio. Since Mireia Record’s big cheeses RSS Disco have been keen to gamble with the Time’s music, routinely lighting up dancefloors with it, a loose connection and mutual admiration formed overthe years and eventually lead to this fine record here.

Founder and A&R of @lifeanddeath, Manfredi Romano grew up tour-managing punk bands and organizing left-field music events in Italy around the turn of the Millennium. Having completed his studies in computer science at the University of Pisa, Manfredi went on to form DAZE, Italy’s first booking agency solely devoted to electronic music. Drawing on two decades of experience behind the scenes, Romano shifted focus  in 2010, establishing himself as a DJ in his own right. 

As a performer, Tennis valiantly showcases an astute ability to create intimacy in even the vastest of gatherings. As a respected producer, Romano consistently channels his past relationships with post-rock luminaries such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise and Fugazi into intricately-synthesised electronic constellations. Known for his Artist Management capabilities is responsible for breaking artists like Tale of Us, Mind Against and Carlita.

Fine chef and restaurant owner, Tennis splits his time between Paris and Miami, where he enjoys riding motorbikes, collecting vintage action-figures and building upon his vinyl record collection - which now numbers over eleven-thousand strong.
