Daryl Benjamin Walker began singing at the young age of 3. He is known today as Deejay da Singa. Singing everywhere he went growing up got him noticed by some very important people, such as Charlie Mack who mentored and managed him and lead him to some exciting opportunities. Under Charlie Mack’s management he performed at Jay Z’s Made in America and Young Jeezy’s release at the Theater of the Living Arts. 

Deejay da Singa has a very versatile style that encompasses the sounds of artists such as Micheal Jackson, Sisqo, John Legend, Tyrese, and August Alsina. He can make a song in any genre but likes gospel, r&b and hip hop, and pop. He also plays numerous instruments, engineers and produces music, is an actor, and hosts events, just to name a few of his talents. Let's not forget he takes time out to give back to his community by organizing protests for Black Lives Matter and teaching children how to play music. He often refers to himself as “The Little Engine That Could” even though he is 6’2.

Deejay has released an album called Harmony and Melody, that was named after his daughters. He has also collaborated with various artists during throughout the  years. Currently he is working on some beats to send to Dubai and a new project called September 9th that will be released on September 9th, his birthday. With a work ethic that cannot be matched Deejay da Singa lives and breathes life into his music. He is always at the studio and is constantly writing new songs, making beats and performing. He practices his craft daily, singing everywhere he goes. With an excellent reputation in the city of Philadelphia he will continue to thrive and touch people with his music.
