Hot Creations hit us with another monster of a release this time from Tom Dinsdale (ex-Audio Bully’s) under his new project Mineo. Title track ‘Turn Out The Lights’ is an intoxicatingly deep groover with a dense low riding bassline, punchy warm chords and an infectious dark male vocal adding a real standout element for the dancefloor. Over on the B-side label head Jamie Jones is on remix duty to deliver one of his best, picking up the pace and turning it into a deep and powerful techy monster, twisted and dark, perfect for the later hours. On a more uplifting tip, the second track from Mineo ‘Off The Handle’ again carries that distinct UK sound. Bass heavy with perfect underlying swing the track twists and turns through different percussion patterns with captivating distorted vocals riding through the many layers.

Tom Dinsdale aka Mineo has been buried away in the studio for the past eighteen months working on music for his new solo project. Sending the tracks to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss as demos, they were soon snapped up and have become a staple part in both of their sets, smashing dancefloors worldwide from Ibiza to Burning Man festival.

Busier than ever with his hectic schedule, Jamie Jones has been touring as a solo artist but also along with Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca C as their Hot Natured band, headlining their own events at the likes of Brixton Academy and festivals including Sonar and Glastonbury. Along with this Jamie has been running his Paradise night at DC10 in Ibiza for it’s second year with huge line ups featuring big names like Richie Hawtin and Loco Dice but also the new artists Jamie is pushing such as wAFF and Patrick Topping. Finding the time somehow, Jamie has also been hard at work in the studio producing music with the Hot Natured crew with a recent debut album release and also doing a number of remixes for his three record labels.

Floating Machine and CrennWiick have come together to create what can only be described as an incredibly impressive live set as their first joint venture. As a team they have proven to complement one another extraordinarily well, their different musical backgrounds come together in perfect harmony.
Floating Machine utilizes musical influences which include techno and progressive grooves while exploring the landscape of experimental and ambient sounds.
CrennWiick has many years of professional experience as a DJ and producer; his notorious and unique sound involves using top digital techniques. He acts as a virtual analogic performer while not forgetting the golden age of the 90’s electronica music.
Their first live set as a team is immediately captivating and energizes the senses. The set then continues to lift the spirits gradually upwards resulting in the listener eagerly anticipating the climax.
Suffice to say the Code Therapy experience is one well worth repeating and leaves me, personally, highly anticipating their next fusion of refined musical abilities.

Ricardo Ramos has been connected to music, garage bands and festival events since 90’s. He was the base player of  “ Deeflex ”, a well known ska/rock/punk Portuguese band.With that band the experience on live events increased his skill and technical audio side.Not satisfied with his knowledge, he took the level II Dancefloor Academy degree and since then the invitations haven’t stopped.

The DjThruster project is based on DJ set and remastering of usual audio tracks, in order to obtain a different ” point of view ” that of the original artist. This project is rolling since 2011 and is already charming the Portuguese public. Ricardo is an ambitious person and is always looking for the best angle to remaster a song.

The musical range comes from very different areas, from the DeepHouse, TechHouse & Techno.


Desde os anos 90 ligado à musica, tendo feito parte de algumas bandas de garagem, foi como baixista dos "Deeflex" que conheceu o mundo dos palcos! 
O projecto DjThruster nasceu em 2010, mas foi já em 2012, com a ajuda de alguns dj's amigos, que o projecto saiu à rua.
Não satisfeito com os conhecimentos adquiridos, tirou o curso de Nível II na Dancefloor Academy, e desde então as datas não tem parado de surgir.
O gosto musical vai desde o IndieDance ao DeepHouse & TechHouse!!
