"In commemoration of the late, but great James Dewitt Yancey, or loosely referred to as, J Dilla (Jay Dee), Washington, D.C-based instrumentalist known as, DJ Tony Buck$ provides his release as a contribution towards preserving the musician's legacy during this year's Dilla Month. As being the third installment of a progressed series of release, ".. 'N on the Third Day.. he Rose Again!" presents itself as an atonement to the underlying element of mystique involving existence. Born February 7, 1974, Jay had left this world due to a rare bone-related illness, or a cancer of lupus on February 10, 2006. My spin on this whole dilemma takes its situation for a twist, as far as the project's namesake. As passed three days following his birthday, also the release of his monumental album, Donuts, I'd say that Jay ascended into a light/livelihood much more vast than this here's pertains. 

With audio segments from fan favorites such as, Erykah Badu and close friend of Jay, House Shoes, this tape fairs as a first's of the year release, hailing from an experimental genre, known as Beneath. It has been said that Jay happens to be the only producer who has surpassed his initial inspirations (idols)."

"THANKGIVING" stems as a shorter 2-track release and it also marks for an up-to-date fabc.-prioritized effort. Within namesake, I thought it would be creative or witty of myself to put a spin on this holiday's name (Thanksgiving) in reflect of gratitude for the initial occurrence and its whereabouts as involved. With have recently even communicated in-person with 1/3 of The Machinists, supposedly we are still actively pursuing that as an obtain. Despite submission, I am still in support of what the platform has represented itself as and would still like for our town (DMV Area) to specify a physical venue as location of host. Upon this Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend, I thought to myself.. "I oughta do something within the tense of biggin' up fabc. again..".
