Cats story: Kittens featured in the photo brought over to us by their Mum two weeks after we rescued her on our patio. They were about 6 six weeks old on their first arrival & about 4 months old as seen in the photo. Cats family kept together & they've been with us since summer 2012. They're in very good hands & they do love house music!

Behind house scene: 
Have listened to house & its sub-genres for years. Love house as much I love trance! Summer 2013, trolling through local records stores & found a 3 disc set Cds titled "2010 most rated" released by Defected Records, U.K based label. 14 tracks meticulously selected from 30 unmixed tracks. Spent endless summer nights carefully sorting out track order to make sure the mix will sound musically & sonically as smooth as possible. Several party events launched on our patio & this set has been amazingly live DJ'ed by our young friend DJ Szabo numerous times for the events. It has been an official opening set for our party events since then! Asked Doonwest for his collaboration on this mix. The mix brought to you by all of us & our Team Cats!

(Early 2004) Final take, first installment of my epic trance series featuring renowned global dance floor trance divas including  Zoë Johnston, Kirsty Hawkshaw, Elles, Bobolina, Skye, Carla Werner, Marcella Woods, Andrea Britton & the beautiful voice of Moya Brennan (Enya's older sister) In trance, it's not about the destination but it's about the journey and if that journey is found in this mix, that is when you're truly in a "state of trance"! I'm glad I've shared that journey with y'all!!!

Behind trance scene:
Rescued & survived from storage HDD data fatal crash due to hardware failure. All digital audio data including trance mixed compilations produced between 1999 to 2005 tragically lost in the crash! WTF? Shit happens! 😉 Since I've never gone clubbing, bars hopping, attending rave festivals, live music concerts and definitely not world cup matches 😉...etc, I don't remember much as time kept passing by so quickly and found myself at this world renowned club https://1015.com/ where I've heard that only world #1 DJs including Tiësto, PVD, AVB...etc, frequently had their gigs! (although guest DJ slot kindly offered to me several times but I declined) I was there giving away demo CDs of this mix to clubbers and same demo CD has been virtually shared with y'all since I joined SoundCloud early 2014!

The making of this mix: 
Records enthusiastically cleaned => live mixed using Technics MK5 model SL-1210M5G turntables, Allen & Heath Xone:62 mixer => recorded in real time using Pro Tools => Uncompressed solid mix rendered @ -6dB master bus => Individual tracks bounced, individually mastered, noise, records hiss, pops removed, time coded, text info input for CDs audio replication => Individual tracks glued using Ableton Live9 => Uncompressed solid mix rendered @ 0dB => SFX added, converted to H.Q mp3 for your listening pleasure!

This (Revised Version) shares the same tracklist with (Original Version) & (Doonwest Version) both previously mixed by Doonwest using Ableton Live9. Unlike other versions, this (Revised Version) was live mixed & recorded in real time using Pioneer DDJ-SR Serato DJ controller 4-Decks enabled with different launched, mixed, cut points & 140 overall bpm...etc.

Behind trance scene:
Early 2013, severely struck by "nerve disorder syndrome" I could no longer spin records with one hand while the other constantly in sleep mode! Almost gave up DJing until Serato DJ initially introduced to me by our young dj friend whom I met offline. Thanks to DJ Szabo & thanks to Serato DJ! One handed DJing is possible! Although, both hands are essentially needed for knobs, buttons...etc, on controller/mixing console!

Production notes:
Most tracks used in this mix digitally captured from analog sources. Some hijacked from mixed cds (Don't tell anyone!) All newly remastered for mixing & recording. Noise, pops, hiss heavily removed during remastering process! Mixed, recorded in 16bit/48k/1,536kbps. Recently mastered in 16bit/48k using CloudBounce Desktop app with the following mastering specs:
Mastering style: Techno, 100% matching
Mastering options: Neutral EQs, Stereo Widening, Loudness -12.5LUFS

Welcome to our patio party!

With its capacity 100+ party animals, 2 gas grills, outdoor gas stove, oven, fire pit, patio gas heaters, patio umbrellas, tables, chairs, lounge chair (in case early intoxication occurred), my dj deck, (disco ball, fog machine to be added soon)! We're good to go! No near by neighbors & music often played as loud as 140dB SPL! (jet engine) That's rude! Our parties are very low keyed with nothing but tasty foods, quality boozes & awesome live dj music! For your own conveniences, cannabis club, neighborhood liquor store 1/4 mile walking distance. Fire house around the corner in case chicken party wings overcooked on the grill. Courtesy taxi services for overly intoxicated guests friendly provided by local sheriff department. Their substation located 3/4 mile from our patio! 😉
