So, I haven't played in a while. Truthfully, haven't been feeling it. I've been more focused on sorting the over 20k tracks I have already than playing or buying more. I finally decided to break bread and the Beatport discount(thanks Beatport) gave me an ever-so-subtle nudge. This is a set of almost every track I just purchased. It's a little bit of everything. In case you are new here, that's what I like and do. Mixing genres. I feel pretty good about the set, overall. As with most of my sets, it's longer, and towards the end, I miss mixes more than in the beginning. Tonight it's mostly cuz this is all brand new music. I was setting cue points as I went. Also, another factor in my missed mixes is the fact I was trying new things. Maybe not new, but newer to me. I find myself wanting to take a sample of the incoming track, and mix feather it in. Sometimes I get so lost in this action I forget that I need to mix before the outgoing track hits outro beats. Anyway, check it out. Lemme know what you think.
