Well, I've been busy working on this one since the release of my latest album 'Shadows'.  I know this is a bit of a surprise post, but I'm fairly happy with this remix.  I've been pretty busy recently working on new tunes and I like doing a few remixes every so often.  

Anyway, I hope you like this remix of SonicWave's awesome track 'SkylinE'!  This is my entry for his remix contest and I urge that you consider joining if you haven't already!  I know there'll be a lot of quality entries (the ones so far are great) so I'm not expecting to do massively well in the contest itself, but most importantly I made this just for a bit of fun.

Faith and religion is something which I've been thinking a lot recently and this song seems to really reflect the array of thoughts I've been having recently.  It's quite a calm, reflective, almost spiritual piece and it's certainly something a bit different to 'Tipping Point'.

I hope that you guys will like this one.  I've spent quite a bit of time getting the atmosphere right and I hope that's something which shines through. DJUK - Fortitude (Free Download)

Hello DJUK fans!  I'm back with my latest release entitled 'Back to Summer'.

I've spent quite a bit of time refining this one over the past week or so.  I wanted to make a piece which mixed both instrumental elements and EDM elements, and here is the result!  This one's got a strings/piano/pan flute introduction with some summer-y percussion, followed by an EDM-like 'drop' at the end.  

It's strange as when I was making this one, as I seemed to recognise the melody line I came up with.   After about an hour or so I twigged - it sounded (the 'drop' anyway) a bit like my 2014 track 'Summer'!  I considered whether to abandon the project at that time, although it had already started diverging well away from the ideas I had sixth months ago, especially with the instrumental section at the start.  Thus, the project continued and here is the result.  If I've ripped anyone off, it's myself; but I can honestly say when I sat down and started work on this one I went nowhere near my track 'Summer'!  It just shows how we can be subtly influenced, I guess! 

Anyway, I really want it to be summer again!  Certainly here in the rainy grey UK, I wish it could be summer again!

DJUK - Summer Nights

DJUK fans!  I'm back with my latest release since 'Summer Nights'.  

I don't normally produce too many remixes (nor do I normally enter many remix competitions), but this one is special.  I'm a big fan of Zephyr's track 'Hiraeth', and when I heard he was holding a remix competition for it, I knew I couldn't pass on the chance to take part!  So, here is my entry!  As you will soon hear, it's a bit of a contrast to the original, even though I've used the stems provided!  But I wanted to give this track a new vibe, and here it is.  

I really loved remixing this track, and I had great fun, in particular, working on the string section in the final part of the remix. 

I will be entering this track to the official remix competition group shortly.  As always, I really do appreciate any feedback / criticism / likes / reposts etc.  It really does mean the world to me.

Zephyr - Hiraeth (DJUK Remix)

Hi all,

It's been over three months since I last posted a track on here (my remix of Zephyr's 'Hiraeth' which you can probably hear playing in the background right now), so I thought that it would only be fair to fill you all in with what's been going on.
The bottom line is, I have been pretty busy.  In fact, I’ve had very little time to produce ‘DJUK’ tracks.  However, that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been doing anything musical.  I’ve actually been doing a bit of DJ-ing and mixing, and I’ve also been busy working on lyrical tracks for an EP / album I’ve been working for quite a while now (coming up to a year I reckon).  While I will probably release this album (which will take at least another year to complete as I want it to be of a very high production quality) under a different alias, I do however have plans to keep releasing tracks as ‘DJUK’.  And, while eventually in two or three years time I may retire the ‘DJUK’ alias in order to work on other musical endeavours, be assured that I have absolutely no intentions of quitting music.  I will also make sure you are all kept well informed of my plans.

Even so, before I would ever consider retiring the ‘DJUK’ alias, I would love to release a decent EP / album which tests my production skills (something like Shadows) and I think that my next plan will be to start slowly working on ideas for something like that.  I would however, like to release a few more single tracks before then and I am also keen to work on some remixes.  So, if any of you have any tracks which you’d like remixing for any albums / EPs, or just in general, I’d LOVE to get involved.  I’m prepared to put in the time to come-up with a really good remix, so if you have anything to offer, or know of any good opportunities, then PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!  I can’t stress that enough!  I'd also love to collaborate with anyone if you'd like!

I can’t really think of too much to say at the minute, but yeah, that’s pretty much all for now.  I’ll try and post more regularly on here so you know what I’m up to even when I’m not making tracks.  In the meantime, thank you guys so much for all of your continued support – I really do appreciate it, and it’s a pleasure to share this musical journey with you all.  If you want to help me out further, then please consider reposting this update so that the rest of my followers see it.  And again, if you know of any good remix opportunities, then please send me a message!

Collab bro?!?!  Remixes?  DJUK November Update!  (See Description)

Hi everyone!  

First off I know I've been really inactive - like REALLY INACTIVE - over the past few months.  I can only apologise for that.  

I am however hoping to release some tracks throughout 2016 and keep you all posted more regularly about what I'm up to.

Here's a little something I've been working on throughout January.  Tell me what you think - I'd love to hear what you guys like about it, how I can improve it etc.  I'm hoping to release it this month/next when I'm happy with it.

WIP - Tell me what you think!

I know that it's been a gruelling wait... but here it is!  My first track of 2016, 'Axis'!

This one reminds me a little bit of my 2015 track 'Faith', which has proven quite popular since its release last year.  However, in terms of production quality and mixing precision, I believe that this latest relate best demonstrates where kind of level I am now operating at.

As usual for original DJUK tracks, free download is available as a means of saying "thank you" for your continued support, so be sure to make the most of that!  It's great to make music which is received so well.

Very rough WIP track.  Started this one back in early April but kind of left it for a bit.  Let me know what you think, that'd be really helpful!

Welcome to the SoundCloud page of music producer DJUK.  

I first entered the world of electronic music back in 2012 when I started experimenting with a bargain copy of Dance Ejay 5.  From there, I started using FL Studio 10 (and later 11 and 12) to produce a range of original compositions.  Today, I continue to use FL Studio and I continue to make a wide range of electronic music, releasing both singles and EPs/albums.  Some of my most popular releases include 'Summer', 'Road to Nowhere' and 'Faith'.  My summer 2014 album 'Shadows' has also proved popular.  The recently released 'Axis' will also, hopefully, prove popular.
