Ulterior Motive inaugurate their Black Label series with a fresh cut from DJ Persuasion, paired with a mind-bending remix from the mighty Digital (Function Records).

Inspired by one of the best-loved horror movies of all time, Danny ‘25 picks up where countless other hardcore renditions which sample the horror genre have left off. The lore surrounding the film which the track is based on is something of a maze in itself. Persuasion digs deep into the legacy of the film and its offshoots to provide a fitting tribute set to bulldozer bass and lightning drums.

Function Records’ owner Digital provides the remix on the flip. Digital should need no introduction — he’s been behind some of the best-loved drum & bass tracks of all time: tunes like Deadline, Down Under, and Phantom Force alongside Duncan Busto aka Spirit, who sadly passed away.
Digital rolls it out in his time-honoured fashion and takes the levels of fear and dancefloor destruction up a notch.

Hearing is believing.

The final chapter in Dark Tunnel's trilogy.

"Layer Three" (Gold) marks the sealed zone - Precision sound for deep listeners and locked-in systems.

"Routing Reflection" opens with calculated flow, echoing pathways and shifting layers of delay and tension.
"Trust Zone" follows with surgical force — stripped and paranoid in tone.

This is the last transmission.
Layer One (Black) — the raw foundation.
Layer Two (Red) — disruption and flow.
Layer Three (Gold) — the isolated control plane.

Dark Tunnel Recordings closes the trilogy with intent.
No filler. Just function and pressure.

Routing Reflection

Purplemonk (@theodoros-efstathiou-37) joins Dream Schemes for our 14th release, delivering 2 vibey jungle tracks to get the dancefloor moving.

A side - Missing U - is a groovy number, starting off on a chilled melodic note with catchy arps before descending into beefy reese and amen madness.

B side - Feel It - starts off a bit more reserved, building up nice break work and melodics before firing out into pure breaks and bass. As the track moves on it goes full circle to bring back the chilled vibes.
