Upzet live at NYE 2022-2023, VOID Club

Coming up as a raver on the Oslo underground club scene, Mira picked up the decks and moved from the dancefloor to the booth in 2012. In the years since, she has made a name for herself on the dnb scene in record time, fuelled by heavy ambition and a deep love for the genre. She has been gigging in cities from Berlin, Ibiza, Manchester to St. Petersburg, playing at festivals like Fusion (DE), Sonar, Outlook, HotHotHot!, Midnight Sun and Solar. Been supporting acts like Fabio & Grooverider, Dillinja, Calyx & Teebee, Noisia, DJ SS, Marcus Intalex, Jubei, DRS, Calibre and Tony Anthem. Alongside gigging abroad, she is founder of Ladies First - Bass Music Movement, and was resident in ROOM 101 and Viking Junglist Massive in Norway. From 2014 to 2015, she had her own weekly dnb radio show called "On.My.Mark" at DNBHeaven. Her musical style was based in liquid funk, but as she matured her sound got deeper and darker. Don't let the smile fool you, she is a proper junglist through and through!

"DJing forces me into the here and now, to a higher state of vitality, free from problems, free from thinking." 
Since the beginning of the 90s, DJ Upzet has been a fan of electronic music. At first, he was attracted to Acid, Rave, and Trance. In 1997, at the age of 16, he discovered his all-consuming passion for Drum and Bass and started mixing it a year later. In 2001, he started organizing DnB events in and around Mannheim, at that time, Germany’s DnB capital city.
In 2009, Upzet moved to Berlin, where he continued DJing and commenced promoting club event series like "Out of Mind", "Step higher", "Infected", "Lucid Dreaming", and other special party nights. Since 2015, he has been running the VOID Berlin, which he recently managed to enlarge. Thus, today, he is the owner and operator of VOID Club and VOID Hall. 
During the Corona lockdown, he found access to music production again. His first track was released on Scientific Records. More is to follow.
Today, Upzet’s major styles are Liquid, Deep, Dark, Tech, Neuro, and Jumpup. Also mixing Oldskool Jungle, Happy Breaks, or, for instance, Dark and Melodic Techno gives him a sense of delight. In all of his sets, he attaches great importance to harmony and diversity.
