Sweet Mixtape by Modeplex

Modeplex is a DJ and techno producer from south Germany. Raised in a musical family, Dave, which is his real name, have always been surrounded by instruments, music and records. Therefore in his early twenties, he started doing events and getting in touch with promoters and bookers.

Modeplex has developed a very personal way to compose, where different musical genres and scenes are the perfect ingredients to give birth to a wholesome kind of techno and deep house.

He takes inspiration from life situations, events happened in his past or anticipated for his future and condenses all those emotions to experiment with different sounds and recordings. That's the reason why he's able to create songs that convey genuine feelings. Each track created by Modeplex has to have a deep sense of character and soul. That's why he applies a vast number of ideas, emotions and algorithms to his creative process. He also recognize the importance of cooperations, given that there is a lot to learn and making music with other artists is more fun anyway.

Every human has a geometric energy pattern centered at heart, where two triangles form a double helix that rotates and expands to form a personal portal through which the individual can travel to other dimensions. The new EP 'Six Degrees', signed by the Italian producer Aree, helps us activate this state of consciousness with a continuous and mesmerizing groove, in which an initially dark and shadowy atmosphere slowly transmutes into bright dawn. The EP also features remixes by Dogma and Black Hertz, who signs for the first time on Prisma. Enjoy the trip!

Coming from a performing arts background; Tareq Liddawi aka (Vertigo), a Dubai based Dj , was occupied by dance and music all his life. "Nothing was as satisfying as moving along a melody, feeling every beat and rhythm" he says. By time, his fascination with music started to rise as a raw piece of art and he started to focus on that alone. He is interested in several music genres and he does experiment with blending different ones together. His favorite music is one that has depth and heaviness, a material that can alter the mind, soul, and imagination.
