Here is a remix we did with Sri Kesava dasi last year in Brisbane. It is largely an instrumental piece with a few samples of Sri's nice vocals. It is ambient chill music.

The lyrics are taken from a traditional hindi bhajan where Radharani is pining Krishna that,"Since you have left me,have you even once thought of me?".

I named the song -the art of forgiveness-perhaps Sri had another title in mind,I am not sure...

Forgiveness is an important skill and art- to know and to master. In sanskrit the word they use for forgiveness means -to untie. Forgiveness frees us from anger and resentment. "To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you."- Lewis B Smedes

When we harbour anger toward those that have wronged us-apparently or in reality, we tend to focus on their faults and undesirable qualities-(real or apparent). Then-as objects of our meditation we begin to imbibe those qualities within and without. As one saying goes-"Forgive or relive".

Though forgiveness may not change the past, it does clear the mind to be able to focus and build on subject matter of a more beneficial nature for the future. Meditations on the Lord and his devotees are undoubtedly the most beneficial and relishable for the spiritually minded.

We are all just like actors on a stage in this material world,playing out our roles according to our previous activities. But once the curtain closes and the lights go down we are eternally united in our purpose of love and dedication to the Supreme.
