DeLon- Rockstar For A Weekend (DJVU Remix)

In preparation for my upcoming EP, which will be a blend of melodic electronic music, I wanted to mix some of my big inspirations as of late.

I wanted to capture the intensities and the melodies that make trance so uplifting, meaningful, and beautiful. Although I didn't get too creative on the track selection, this mix means the world to me. I hope you have at least half as much fun listening as I did making this.
Recorded live in spring 2014 using 4 decks: 3 decks controlling tracks, 1 deck controlling F1 samples.

In June 2014, my father, cousin and I set out to climb the infamous "Knife Edge" of Mount Katahdin, the highest peak in Maine. I made a song about this humbling experience.

After an amazing life, Édith Piaf looked back on her years and admitted that she didn't regret a moment of it.
This was a difficult remix to make, the original was more of a 3/4 waltz rhythm, so excuse the bounciness of it when I put it in 4/4 timing!
