Tribute to Srimati Evlin Morgan in honor of Her passing (08/28/1930 - 01/09/2025). 
This was one of Srimati Evlin’s most famous renditions, reiterated by Ustad Babloe Shankar on 01/12/2025 at a relatives residence in Valley Stream, NY. Ustad met Srimati Evlin in the 1970s in Suriname. As a young boy, he began playing Dholak for Her in both Suriname and Guyana, and continued for many more years in NY as They both migrated.

Accompanying Him is : 
His son Shailesh Shankar (NY) on the Dholak, His chela Matthew Mohan (NY) on the Harmonia, and Balram Oumadatt (NY) on Manjeera. Ustad and myself are playing Dhantaal as he sings.

Srimati Evlin Morgan was a legendary songstress whose teachings and protection of Sanatan Dharm have stretched from one side of the globe to the other, and we are forever in debt to Her for the impenetrable path She has paved for all songsters, followers of all faiths, and everyone in between. Rest in peace, that great soul.
