Stuttgart duo Tomi&Kesh return to Pirate Copy's Kaluki Musik this November, this time teaming up with Romanian DJ and producer, Cosmin Horatiu to deliver their brand new, 'Heavy Hitter' EP. Since forming back in 2016, Tomi&Kesh have come along way in the Tech House scene, now heavily regarded by many for their distinctive and captivating sound. Cosmin Horatiu has also had a successful career within the industry and between both artists their records have found homes on labels including Under No Illusion, Great Stuff, NONSTOP, Toolroom, Lemon-aid and more which has led to support from heavyweight DJs; Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Steve Lawler, wAFF and Dennis Cruz. The 'Heavy Hitter' EP infuses raw drums, hip swinging rhythms, pulsating basslines and modulating percussion, bringing the energy straight to the dancefloor.

Tomi&Kesh, Cosmin Horatiu - Been A While

Cuban born DJ/producer from Miami, Malóne, makes his debut on the Saved Records imprint this May with debut release, 'Time To Move' EP which features the smooth vocals of Shyam P. After a busy eighteen months promoting his debut album, Essex-hailer Max Chapman brings us his La Fiesta EP on Hot Creations. The title track features alongside remixes by the versatile Luca Cazal and house veteran Todd Terry.

With Latin vibes from the outset, Max has encompassed the essence of The White Isle. La Fiesta is a  migration of percussion, chanting and melodic vocals and flirtatious basslines. Luca Cazal has turned up the kick and brings an old school vibe with his remix. Todd Terry’s energetic arrangement of snares and bongos compliments the provencal vocal perfectly.

Since his arrival on the scene six years ago, Max Chapman has released on an abundance of labels including VIVa, Toolroom and last years Body Jack on Elrow, that achieved number one status across all genres on Beatport. Established in 2012, his imprint Resonance Records provides a platform for the freshest talent in underground tech-house. Max’s album Catch Me If You Can, released last year, received a notable 9/10 in both Mixmag and DJ Mag.

Luca Cazal has been steadily rising up the ranks since his debut release on Crosstown Rebels in 2013. Constantly refining his production skills, Luca transmits positive emotions with every track he releases. After three decades on the scene, Grammy-nominated Legend Todd Terry has continued to release  superior productions and entertain crowds worldwide.

This reputation has earned him a number of awards, including winning Best Producer in this year's DJ Awards, not to mention nominations for Best Spanish Artist, Best Producer and Best DJ from Vicious in 2016. Dennis Cruz' success in the industry continues this October with a busy touring schedule, featuring multiple performances at this year's ADE, as well as his return to Solid Grooves Records with 'Rock & Roll EP'.

'Rock & Roll' opens the release with a rumbling low end and grooved drum loops, allowing exciting snare rolls to build towards an inspiring vocal and hypnotic mid-range motifs before 'Get Ready' uses a vocal with more musicality which interacts the melodic bass hook, rising synth rhythms and shimmering hi hats to close out the release smoothly.
