Today I turn 30. Last year I entered my Saturn Return and it was absolutely brutal. At 29, I quit my stable job, I broke up with my extremely toxic ex, I lost an entire community without explanation, I was forced to relocate back home after just establishing myself in the bay. Every part of my life truly felt like my world was crumbling in front of me.

Fast forward a year later, I’m working at a job that I enjoy, I’m happily single & enjoying my independence, I found a new community & I’ve fallen back in love with my hometown, closer to my family.   

To commemorate 30, I made a 30 minute mix of songs that speak to lessons I’ve learned during my Saturn Return. Coming back to myself, establishing my boundaries, doing what truly makes ME happy. Overly excited to embrace this new era of my life and embracing the highs and the lows to bring me to where I am now.

I had the opportunity to play a set for the Soulection & Friends tour in my hometown, Sacramento, last weekend. I've been a fan of Soulection since 2014 and ever since then, it's been on my bucket list to play alongside them. Full circle moment to say the least. I was super blessed to have my bestfriends come out and support + also got to meet new people that came up to me & compliment my set. It was a beautiful day to celebrate music. djwavybb is a female Filipina DJ playing blending both R&B and electronic music hailing from Long Beach, CA building a name & brand for herself in the music industry. djwavybb has performed in many cities such as Los Angeles, Orange County, the Bay Area, Seattle, New York, & Chicago at venues like LA Coliseum, House of Blues, Catch One LA, Avalon Hollywood, Bill Graham Civic Center, Halcyon SF, 1015 Folsom, Public Works SF & The Great Northern to name a few.

djwavybb started by rocking many local R&B parties as well as played many electronic themed parties like Shrek Rave and Brownies & Lemonade. From there, she continued to pave her path in the music scene by sharing the stage with electronic artists such as Snakehips, Sam Gellaitry, Yellow Claw, Whethan, Jai Wolf, & Jamie Jones. She's also opened for multiple Soulection artists like Esta, Full Crate, Jael, Miles Medina, Jared Jackson.

 
On top of performing in many bars & venues throughout the country, she’s also gone on tour for Thuy’s Girls Don’t Cry 2022 tour opening for artist Ashley Mehta as well as performed at 2 electronic music festivals, Breakaway Bay Area 2022 & 2023. 

You can expect to hear a blend of a wide range of electronic music and r&b music, ranging from all types of house, trap, ukg, & jersey club from any of her sets. She blends in nostalgic favorites reimagined to connect with the crowd and keep them dancing all night long. Through her art, she hopes to inspire other women to pursue their creative dreams. Through music, she hopes to make an unforgettable impact on her listeners and make them feel what she feels.
