Mixtape I made on 10/16/97 which features the Bassbin Twins, Rabbit in the Moon, K5, Friction & Spice, Freestylers, Electroliners, and other old school favorites.  Recorded at my home live on 2 Technics 1200 Mk2 turntables, Gemini 626 mixer, and a tape deck.  One of my all time favorites and shows what my style was early on.  Hope you guys enjoy.

3 Years & 3 Days (Recorded on 10/16/97)

Being born and raised in Ft. Myers, Fl, which is on the southwest coast of Florida, I was heavily influenced by Miami bass.  My two older brothers would somehow get music from Miami or would get a hold of some electro classics.  These songs would shape my childhood and eventually lead me to become a dj.  The middle brother Gregg, dj'd at a skating rink and told me that they were looking to hire a new dj.  The thought of talking in front of a bunch of people scared the shit out of me, but it was that or McDonalds.  I chose wisely and my reward was getting to play the records of all these songs that I grew up listening to.  My brother taught me how to match beats and I became a sponge, taking in any info on djing I could.  I would eventually be introduced to Florida breaks, then jungle/dnb, but here is where I started.  These songs have a special place in my soul and I hope you enjoy this mix.  This is where I'm from.
