Enrique Jimenez aka Big Pack is the House Salad Music label boss out of Mexico City. He discovered his love for electronic music in the mid 90's when he attended house and techno parties with local DJs. From then on, his intimate love affair with house music began. The sound of Chicago with labels like Cajual and Relief and Prescription brought him the most inspiration. His whole trajectory changed and music became his life. The task of discovering music became an infinite loop of collecting records. After 11 years of touring dance floors as a spectator and amateur DJ, in 2005 he acquired his first turntables, technics 1200s. When he finally felt he had an extensive vinyl collection, he decided to venture into the world of DJing professionally.
Now, with some years of experience, Big Pack has played in key clubs all over Mexico, opening for artists such as Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Derrick Carter, Phil Weeks, Wally Callerio, Andrew Emil, JT Donaldson , Oliver Dollar, 1200 Warriors, to name a few.

He is busy with several internet radio show residencies on Radio Webphre and his own podcast & label, House Salad Music

Convinced of the timelessness of music, his mixes are a real tunnel of time, where he plays classics combined with the freshest of modern house.

Co-host Greg Middleton takes to the decks again this week, with special guest  Moussin (aka Alberto), a talented DJ from Zaragoza in Spain who has been a keen listener of our radio show over the past year. He has a passion for disco, soul and classic house, but also plays a variety of other genres, as long as they have a sound or melody that evokes feelings and warms the heart. 

Moussin has been immersed in music since his youth, and his journey began at the end of the 90s, the golden age of hedonism. He opened his first small club at the age of 18, supported by his family, spending summers in Ibiza and winter seasons travelling to overseas clubs and raves. At that time the Jean Paul Gaultier Junior Parties in The Netherlands were running massive raves, and soon began a collaboration creating their own branch in Spain BMP (Bizarre Music Parties) with great success.

In the early 2000s,  he was running two electronic music clubs and one
live music venue, Oasis Club de Teatro / Kitsch Experimental Club, and also ran the restaurant Sunseabar (Ibiza 2006) and Café del MAR (Zaragoza 2009)

His work as a promoter allows him to hire the most important international DJs such as Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo, Martin Solveig, Mark Knight, Bob Sinclar, Harry Romero, Ron Carroll, Eric Prydz and Boy George to name but a few.

He was also involved in crazy parties at the best clubs in Ibiza including Pacha, Amnesia Space or Privilege, Ministry of Sound, Manumission, and Release Yourself.....

Then the pandemic arrived and the world stopped….. So Moussin decided to use this time to share his love of music, and to spread happy vibes via his DJ mixes. He is one of the most prolific DJs that I know, and he regularly uploads amazing mixes to Soundcloud which are greeted with joy and enthusiasm from the disco community.

Raised in Biel/Bienne, a city known as Switzerland's mecca for Hip Hop enthusiasts, DJ WIZ gets in touch with this culture as a young teenager. Due to his passion to collect American and French Rap records, WIZ takes his first steps as a DJ during the late 90s. Fascinated by this new discovered craft he spends day and night refining his DJ skills. Within the mid 2000s the member of Biel’s DoubleTrouble DJ-Crew is already said to be one of his hometown's finest.
After over a decade behind the decks and his first steps as a beatmaker, DJ WIZ releases his producer debut album in 2010 as part of the group Ruck N’Wiz (Ruck P and WIZ). Thanks to very positive reviews and airplay on national radio and MTV, their record called "The Essential Part" (featuring artists such as Masta Ace, Delinquent Habits, Fashawn or Termanology) gets a lot of attention. After their first release, Ruck N'Wiz win 2011's national M4Music "Urban" Award and they're able to establish themselves as a cornerstone in Switzerland's Hip Hop landscape.

During the same time WIZ doesn't sleep as a solo artist. By releasing several mixtape- series called "Years Too Late", "We Be Clubbin" and "Wizness As Usual" the co- promoter of the event series "Rap History" proves the deepness of his record collection in an impressing way. Within a few years WIZ is able to develop his reputation from a well-respected underground Hip Hop head into a celebrated musical allrounder, said to be one of his country's most versatile DJs.

By releasing the series "A Journey Through The Samples" with Ruck N'Wiz, several Nu- Disco projects with Boulevard 95 and the mix-series "Next Wave" during the past two years, WIZ gets major international attention and is able to continue building his reputation as a multi-genre artist.

Without doubt DJ WIZ is one of todays top DJs in Switzerland, performing weekly at the finest clubs and festivals all over the country. With over 15 years of experience, the 30 years old DJ is able to rock any crowd from a fancy club event to an underground Hip Hop jam or a future groove party.

By dominating the Red Bull Thre3style 2015 Swiss Finals and becoming 2nd runner up at the World Finals in Tokyo, WIZ once again proved his skills on the turntables.
